THIS ^^^ is one of the reasons I don't start eating until I am really hungry on a DD. I tend to not eat breakfast until lunch and then dinner later on and that saves me some calories for snacks in the evening, which BTW is my trouble time, also!!
![]() DD for me and am making this one a good one today!! B....none L....Bagel Thin w/FF cream cheese S....8 crackers w/1 wedge of Laughing Cow lite cheese D....Chicken Cheese Steak on a wrap with Walden Farms Bacon Ranch dressing. S...Not sure yet but I have 150 calories left from my 700 to spend for later tonight.

Julie, I lost my shirataki virginity this evening as well!! Same same! I made the yummiest of stir fries with onion, mushroom, and zucchini, pasta sauce, egg whites, and one egg. It was delicious, but I think it would have been so even without the shirataki. I had to order them online and I only got one package to try, so it was mostly a nice treat, but I definitely enjoyed it.

I haven't started JUDDD yet (thinking about Monday) but I like the shiratake noodles and have found them at my local grocery store as well as Whole Foods and the local Asian market. HTH if you don't want to order. They're pretty inexpensive as well. I think I pay around $2 a package.
I like to make a Pho with broth, shiratake, mushrooms, and a smidge of green onion. Not really sure it's a Pho, but that's what I call it. Any protein you want can be added as well depending on the broth. I haven't added the calories, but should be pretty low. |
