Please help me w/my rotation!

HELP! I have been alternating UDs and DDs since I started JUDDD, and was very excited that Thanksgiving already landed on a UD, so I didn't have to fuss w/an MD, because I've never used one so far.
But my husband just called and said we need to have dinner w/his clients this Sat, which would be a DD for me.:annoyed:
Don't know what to do for rotation now--do I throw in an MD sometime before Sat so it can be an UD? Do I make Sat an MD and Sun a DD or UD? Also, if that throws off my rotation again so Thanksgiving is now a DD after this weekend, how do I move things around again??
I'm sorry--but I just want to do the best thing so as not to mess up my metabolism and gain everything back.:dunno::stars:
Thanks in advance!!

Here's how I would do it: (I'm thinking I have in mind what your current schedule is and that you need this Saturday to become an UD, and then you want Thanksgiving Thursday to also be an UD.)

I'd do this:

Today is an UD
Thursday (tomorrow) becomes a MD
Friday will be a DD
Saturday will now become an UD, and work out well for the dinner with business clients

(So.. this gives you a single MD for this week, and the week is concluded.)

This coming week can work like this:

Sunday, following the client dinner, will be a DD
Monday will become another MD
Tuesday will be an UD
Wednesday will be a DD
Thanksgiving Thursday will now be the UD you are wanting!
And then Friday will be a DD.. and so forth..

This rotation gives you a single MD Thanksgiving week too.

You can continue now in straight rotation without inserting any more MDs until there comes the next time when you have some upcoming event that you need to adjust your days for.

Pat--you are AMAZING!
That's EXACTLY what I needed; and I'll write down the rotation so I'll have it next time I need it!:jumpjoy:
THANKS!!

I was just thinking of posting this same situation. I need my Christmas dinner to be an UD. Should I just throw a MD in there somewhere to make it work out?

Also how many calories are i an UD. Do you average out an UP with a DD?

Yes, throw a MD in there in the beginning of next week and you should be fine. The way Pat explained it to me was when you put a MD in the rotation you pushed the days forward like this: UD, DD, MD (should have been a UD but I moved it forward as you see here >>>), UD, DD, etc. You don't change the rotation, you just move that DD or UD forward, if you see what she means by my example, so that the DD later in the week becomes an UD. It's almost like "adding" a day in there that is called a MD.

A MD calories are in the "middle" of your UD and DD calories. Example: I do 700 DDs and 1800 UDs so my MD would be 1100 calories give or take a few.

HTH!!

O.k Beeb my brain is not working today!:dunno: I want Christmas to be an UD too. Today 12/17 is a DD so tomorrow 12/18 will be UD. Where should I put my MD to make Christmas an UD?:)

You can put it in whenever you want between now and then--Pat was trying to help me put in two MDs to switch my rotation once for a dinner, then switch it back for Thanksgiving.
But if today is a DD and you make tomorrow a MD, then the next day would be a UD. Also vice versa: if today is a UD and you make tomorrow a MD, then the next day would be a DD--it just switches your regular UD/DD rotation.
Hope this isn't too confusing:confused:

This is what you do: 12/17 DD, 12/18 UD, 12/19 DD, 12/20 MD, 12/21 UD, 12/22 DD, 12/23 UD, 12/24 DD, 12/25 UD. There you go..make tomorrow a MD and make Wednesday an UD and you will be all set for an UD on Christmas day!

Sorry Lou, just saw this. PJsam explains it very well. Here is how Pat taught me:

DD, UD, DD, UD, DD, UD, DD...this is my regular rotation every week. Now if I want one of those DDs to change into an UD I would do my rotation for that week like this:...DD, UD, MD, DD, UD, DD, UD. You insert the MD and just push they days forward. A MD is almost a day that isn't real; meaning it's put there and then the rest of the days continue on as usual AFTER that MD.....DD, MD,( which would have been an UD in regular rotation and but with the MD throw in there the UD is push forward to the next day), UD, DD, UD, DD, etc.
