Well the thing is, it's not a DD recipe per say, but according to ******, it's 166 calories for 1/2 a beef, bean & cheese enchilada and 1/4 c. rice, so that's what I'm going with! It was just a case of the dinner I made everyone else looking so yummy I had to have some.

I do wish there was a calorie count on allrecipes for this. I will post the recipe though!

Eek I went over on my dd calories by 46 I wasn't thinking and, out of habit, grabbed about 1/2 an ounce of almonds and just ate them!

I had gotten a little off track for a couple of days so I let monday be a verry DD with only about 60 calories. So today I am back on track with a good UD probably around
2800 calories.

I'm hoping you will be able to get closer to that 1,600 as the following UDs come along. I would hate to see this WOE not working for you, or at least not as wonderful as it can work for you, because you don't eat close to that "Magic gap" in your UD and DD calories.
I was actually considering moving my UD to 1200 and lowering my DD to 300 so the spread would be at induction level, and then increasing both UD's and DD's in increments until I am at a more reasonable average. That way I can keep the DD at 25% of the UD, at least for induction. I think incremental increases might be better than a sudden increase of 600 calories/day (average).

So:

UD of 1200 tomorrow,
DD of 300 the next day
UD of 1300
DD of 325
UD of 1400
DD of 350
UD of 1500
DD of 375
UD of 1600
DD of 400

Starvation mode is REAL, folks! It's not like I was anorexic and had no more weight to lose, I only just passed into "normal" range a few pounds ago. And I am a moderately active person. But I managed to stall at <400 calories a day, weighing/measuring my food (so I know I wasn't underestimating).

If you even HAVE a BMR (like, if you're even alive), this should not be possible, right? But it happened to me. The ACTUAL weight loss finally matched with projected weight loss in my ****** software when I set the metabolism section at:

100 year old woman
Bedridden
Activity: Sleep, 24 hours

That's starvation mode.
I totally believe in starvation mode.
Even though my metabolism is currently high, I have in my 25 yrs of dieting often dieted my metabolism down to low calories through incorrect dieting techniques (ie, steady state reduction of calories).
I have also experienced the painful rebound that happens with reintroduction of a bit more food!

Thats why I love calorie cycling- it has been the key for me in losing weight without metabolic reduction.

I am truly impressed though Nikki- at how much you get in for your 400 calories,
and that you could stick with such an incredibly spartan regime
long enough to get the weight off!
Kudos to you.
I hope Judd will work in getting your metabolism up so you can actually eat some food though!

I will be really interested to see how it goes for you,
because you have reduced your metabolism to very low levels,
and if Judd can work for you to improve that, then it should be able to work for anyone.

I am super impressed though...

UD for me!

Felt like I just blew it at dinner.

Knew we were going out for dinner tonight, so saved calories for dinner minus 200 calories for my morning coffee egg cream.

Just came home and added up what I had, and still have 200 calories left!!!!!!

I love this, eating without guilt. Ate exactly what I wanted to! Now just to wait and see if the scale will be nice.

B- coffee shake 1/2 c. almond milk, 2 T. HWC and 1 egg, blended with 8 Oz. coffee and vanilla Torani

D- Logan's Roadhouse
2 1/2 Rolls!! (been FOREVER since I've had bread!!)
6 Oz. Chopped Steak
Grilled mushroom Kebab
1/2 order onion petals

Lots of water with Lemon

I ate all this and still have calories left!!!!!!!!!! Crazy!!
