OK, results for 3 weeks November...not stellar.

Ending weight, same as starting weight.

However, some good things.

1 1/2 inches lost. Waist hip ratio improved from .805 to .797. Belly down 1/4 inch, waist down 1/2 inch. Clothes definitely fitting better.

Average weight week 1:
126.9
Week 2:
128.2
Week 3:
126.8

I'm going to vary my Down Day schedule this week and see if I can't bust past this stall.

My November results are not as good as they could be, because I ate wayyyy too much over the Thanksgiving weekend.
However, because JUDDD is so AWESOME, I was 150.2 on Nov 22 (my low for the month) and I am now back down to 150.3 this morning.

My own fault. But, I'm SOOO excited that JUDDD is so easy to work with and so helpful when you "fall off the wagon." It was NEVER this easy w/LC!
Back to business--need to get out of the 150s ASAP!

I have to say that JUDDD is doing fine by me, I'm not losing but I'm maintaining and I've been maintaining right through two Thanksgivings, Desserts and Leftovers so I'm pleased.

Now to just maintain through Christmas...and New Year....

This diet is a LOT of work, Im really reconsidering doing something else. I liked eating what I wanted on Up days, but its gotten me nowhere. Lots of work, no weight loss. If I do lose, its going to be soooo slow or I have to change what i can eat on UDs...

I dont use a plan on my up days. I refuse to cut carbs ever again in my life, that has messed me up real good. Turned me into a serial yo-yoer and binge eater.
Its also so depressing being so hungry on DD at night and going to sleep on an empty hungry tummy.

speedracer--if it's any help to you at all, I didn't count UD cals at all, but stopped losing after 2 weeks. I have to keep track of my UD cals now so I don't go over by 1000 or 2000

But, it worked--I've been losing ever since I started keeping track. I do have to say, though, it would not be easy if I couldn't keep track on my phone. Otherwise, I would hate it.

Okay, so How do you plan your meals? then. I mean We use "diet" as a term meaning "reduction style eating Plan" but diet really just means What you eat on a regular basis. So What I'm asking is how do you decide what to eat? What "plan" do you use , as in is it a Standard American Diet Plan, is it "I'm on the road alot and eat Fast food plan" , or Low fat in general, or what do you usually eat on up days.

Reason I ask is because I think, contrary to any JUDDD logic, but just for my own sake, that if I want to reduce, then even on JUDDD I'd choose some sort of "plan" that would lean towards reducing. I know the Down Days are supposed to Balance out the up days for calories, but I also know that I can store up a lot of glycogen from starchy carbs on an Up day that might keep me from being able to burn fat.

Not saying you have to restrict carbs, but if you have a plan, then it will be easier to review what you are doing so that you can make changes that may help you achieve the goal you want. If it's random, you can't know if something is contributing to weight loss or lack of it. That's why I wanted to know what your Up Day plan is.

I'm not trying to lose weight. So My Up Day plan is to allow my self up to my maximum calories, in an EFGT style, in order to not gain, and the benefit of that UD plan is that, it is so rich in fat, I don't feel hungry ( or as hungry) on Down days, and I can fast longer, from waking to afternoon, before taking my DD meal.

Keeping track of your Up Days is a good way to just document what is happening, giving you more information to make adjustments if you want.

WOW everyone.....some really good losses for the month here despite Thanksgiving!! I've lost 8lb since starting on 11/7. but that total was 10.5 prior to my Thanksgiving (leftover) blow out. Think we need to congratulate ourselves!!

Are we starting a new December thread? I'd start one, but don't know how.

I will try to stick to my 352 DD allowance and see if this will result to greater weight loss. 352 on DD is my 'Induction Phase" count. The book says that I can stick to this longer if I choose too.Let's see. It's a little bit tough!
