Any thoughts on how to go about this? I dont get the 20% weight loss mode etc.. on the JUDD website.. it says normal calories are 3312 at 20% weight loss mode.. and DD calories are 662 I am fairly active and exercise at least 2 or 3 times a week.. not sure how that will work when it starts snowing here lol

I suggest you go to the sticky at the top of the this JUDDD thread and go to those sites and then take an average. Here is the stickey link: http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/ju...lculators.html Also, make sure you are putting the correct pounds and inches on the JUDDD site or your numbers will be way off because it goes by metic instead of pounds/inches. I think we over estimate our exercise some but those UD calories just seem too much for someone who is close to my starting weight. I put in sedentary, which I usually am, and my calories at 20% were 330 amd 1652. I used 40% to up my DD calories because I knew I couldn't do it at 330 and it worked fine. If you still can't get it PM me and I'll give you my number and help you over the phone, I'm up right now for a while. :hugs:

I double checked.. second set seemed more reasonable.. I think I clicked male instead of female !:o I walk at least 2 to 3 times a week for at least 2 miles at a time, and am pretty active. it gave me 2,093 for UD and 419 DD which seems pretty small.. I think 500 would be better for me.. maybe even 600 depending on how I feel..

That does seem like better numbers and I would suggest you try the 500 for a couple of DDs and if you can't do them, then up those calories to 600 if it's not working well for you. JUDDD is very forgiving and your calorie gap for UDs and DDs will still be large even at the 600 DD calories you may do for the plan to work. It's the gap between DDs and UDs calories that is needed to let JUDDD work it's "magic" for weight loss and helping to get our metabolisms back in rear!

I hope you decide to give it a try, my friend! I would  to have you here! :hugs:

OH, and no one would every mistake you for a man, sweetie!!:laugh:
