I kind of instigated the thread lol. And DH loves cookies and cream anything. The pieces I had probably amounted to less than 2T white chocolate chops and about 1/2 a cookie, but man it was sweet.

Since it's a playground thread, here's the recipe:
Cookies and Cream Breakaway
Preparation: Line an 8×8 pan with enough parchment or wax paper for a 1 inch overhang on each side.

•10oz. Ghirardelli white chocolate chips
•15 regular size Oreos, plus 3 more for topping
Instructions:

1.Place chocolate in a double boiler over low heat and stir continuously, until chocolate is completely melted. Transfer chocolate to a heat proof bowl and cool for 5 minutes. Add chopped Oreos and stir to combine. Pour mixture into pan. Use a spatula to smooth out top.
2.Finely chop remaining Oreos and sprinkle on top. Chill for about 10 minutes until chocolate becomes solid.
3.Lift whole bark out of pan by holding onto parchment or wax overhang. Split bark into pieces with a fork.

Wow, Dottie: that would hit a few spots for me. I may have to make that and eat a few (I mean only a few!) bites and then get it out of my house!!

I used the microwave so it was super easy: 1 minute, stir, then 30 second intervals, stirring until they melted then proceed.

Earlier today I had a bowl of Hormel Vegetarian chili, a grilled cheese sandwich and the other half of the Pure Protein Choc. Chip bar from last night.

Now I just had some lasagna and heavenly garlic bread and wine.

I have 200-300 calories left, so I might have a yogurt or some fruit later, or just finish the night with a Pure Protein bar.

And even though I just had a small piece, I know I'll pay for it on the scale tomorrow lol. It was good though!
Are you out of your mind?!! That looks amazing!!

UD do me, and it was my first, and I wanna make sure one of my only, "Up, up and away" days, as Pat calls them, that I will have for awhile. I can't begin to even count the calories since I ate out ALL day today, starting with the Amish Market/Bakery and continuing on to dinner at a new BBQ place, but I'm sure I got to infinity and beyond calories with what I ate!!

The scale tomorrow will tell me the price I will have to pay for a bacon, egg and cheese omelet wrapped up in a pretzel, an apple fritter, pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries, a side salad and a 1/8 of a piece of coconut cake with coconut icing. OH, I forgot I did have some kind of "good" foods today; A tangerine and some grapes!

I'm over stuffed and DON'T like this feeling at all!

some days that answer is YES!
It was really good, but soooo rich! I'm thinking of a way to cut the sweetness some, but that might defeat the purpose lol.
