Thinking of changing over.....

I am just starting the book on JUDDD....I am currently doing low carb(since Feb.1)and have lost around 78lbs. My weightloss has really slowed down...so I was thinking I need a change and JUDDD seems to work for alot of people. Can I still keep my carbs down though? I don't want to go back to sugar and pasta. I think rice on occasion would be sooooo good! But not sugar. So...my question is...can I still do somewhat low carb(less than 100 on up days)and do JUDDD at the same time...or will it not work?

Hi Anita!

I am still a newbie here but, I came from low carb for a couple of reasons. One being that my weight loss had stalled, another that I felt lifting my restricted food band fit my lifestyle better and therefore would be easier to maintain in the long run and of course it's way too early to tell but, maybe even live longer!

I do what I'd consider low to moderate carb since starting JUDDD. On my UDs I am usually between 50 and 100gms. DDs are definitely low carb usually back to 10 - 20 gms. When I started JUDDD I was between 10 - 20gms. There are a lot of people here who stick with low carb and JUDDD. I found for myself that if I was going to stick with the plan I needed to eat more carbs (and not just vegetable carbs) and have been eating pretty much anything that I'm sure I will be eating long haul. And, it's working for me so far. I had a bump up in the scales when I added carbs back (water weight returning) but, I stuck with it and have seen new lows since then.

I'm happy to see you here asking questions. I hope you get all the information you need to make the best decision for you.

Hi Anita! to JUDDD You can do LC on JUDDD. JUDDD is about calorie cycling, not any particular food lists. Some here do LC, others moderate, others higher. It's up to you and your body how you want to approach JUDDD

and nice to see you are thinking of coming over to the "dark side" as some of us call this WOE!

LC, Moderate Carb, NoC, HighC, whatever fits your wants and needs, as long as you stay within your calories for you UD and DD and eat at least up to those calorie ceilings.

JUDDD is very flexible and we can eat whatever we want. It's all up to you.

It's all about the calories, bottom line.

Can't wait to see your success posts!
