DD Soup and Bread products?

Anyone tried any canned soup that tastes good for DD?

What about bread products (for maybe with a ff hot dog or a half slice to have with some turkey)?

Just getting some of my thoughts together for when I move from HCG to JUDDD

I use Nickell's 35 calorie per slice bread.

I like Progresso Lite soup - the veg and barley one is my favorite and 120 calories for the whole can.

My favorite DD meal is the soup and 2 slices of toasted low cal bread spread with 1 wedge of Laughing Cow swiss cheese!

I eat a slice of a high calorie bread which is dense and really tasty. It leaves me feeling really full and satisfied. Vogel's Soya and Linseed loaf, 115 calories per slice. I'm in the UK, so it is probably not available in the States.

Just what suits me.

Cup a soup and a sandwich on natures own light wheat (40cals per slice) or joseph's pita (60 cals). Comfort food :)

I don't have bread on DD's, but I recently bought Healthy Choice country garden vegetable. It is 180 for the can, but it comes up 145 on my calorie counter - I guess that is because it says ABOUT 2 servings ... 90 cal per serving.

Trader Joe's vegan split pea soup is 150 calories for a whole can and very filling--

Alvarado Street Bakery Essential Flax Seed Bread. It is their version of LC/light at 50 cals/slice.
It's in CA so don't know how far east it's distributed.

I usually end up with a hot dog on a half slice of bread most DDs. The hot dogs I buy are called "98% fat free" from Oscar Mayer...40 cal/dog. The bread I am currently using is called "Health-Full 10-grain bread"...40 cal/half slice. I think the brand name is Orowheat.

My current fave canned soup is lite Campbell's Italian style wedding soup...80 cal for half a can made with water.

i like most of the progresso lites, they average around 120-150 for the whole can

i also like to make my own veggies soup and it usually averages out to just under 100 calories for 2 cups depending on what i put in it.

it varies, but i just dump in whatever frozen or fresh veggies i have, measure it and add broth and put it all in the recipe builder.

Half a grilled cheese made with 1 slice 40 cal bread and 1 slice FF American cheese made in the Forman grill, with a cup of homemade Tomato soup!

Total for all 113 calories or a whole sandwich/cup of soup for 153 calories.

I find piling a bunch of lettuce on the sandwich makes it very filling for few calories, too :)

Linda! Sounds good! I also make tomato soup by blending a can of diced tomatoes with garlic/basil. The whole can is less than 100 cals, and sometimes I make it creamy by adding a little almond milk. yum.

We usually get a roasted chicken from our grocery store for Friday dinners, and I save the bones in the freezer. Every two weeks I pile the bones in my slow cooker, add a bit of vinegar (to help release the minerals from the bones into the broth) and cover with water, then put on low for hours.

One cup of this broth, with a tbs. of miso (fermented soy paste -- a natural probiotic) dissolved in it, and a glug of hot sauce ("glug" is the technical term, of course!) is tasty, filling, and very satisfying. About 75 calories (I can't get a consistent value for homemade chicken broth, but the miso is about 40)
