I came home from work this morning feeling like I was ...Starving. It's SO GOOD to actually know what true hunger feels like!!

Anyway, I just finished a big cheese biscuit along with some SF hot coco mixed into my usual morning cup of decaf. My daughter asked me what the heck was i drinking?, I told her it was my idea of a .."frap-pra-lat-tae.". ( whatever its called?) :laugh:

HAHA I do this quite often myself. I use Nestle Nesquik SF.

DD today - no clue yet what I am eating :dunno:

Down day. Feeling more optimistic today.

Lots of diluted black coffee.

Egg white omlet with handful of squeezed out previously frozen spinach, some onion, and a spoonful or two of salsa. Maybe a sprinkling of parmesan cheese. Won't have breakfast until around 12 or 1, though.

Lunch, around 3 or 4 will be miracle noodle mac and cheese with some kind of veg. Maybe a salad - haven't had one of those in awhile now.

Dinner will be that recipe for chicken enchaladas (sp?) using that recipe with psyllium which I finally bought yesterday. Maybe more vegies. Should keep me below 500 for the day.

Oh yeah, lots (and lots) of water. :up:

B: coffee w/almond milk
D: small sirloin(very lean), sliced cucumbers sprinkled w/ranch flavored popcorn seasoning; broc, cauli, carrot mix
S: tuna and lettuce salad w/vinegar

Around 420 calories

DD here:

B - Coffee = 5 cals ( I budget for 2 cups - 16oz - but don't always have 2)

Late Lunch - Pork shoulder w/ cauliflower, zucchini (love zucchini ... hardly any cals or carbs!) = 218 cals

Dinner - repeat lunch = 218 cals

Snack - Swiss Miss Diet & SF Jello = 35 cals

TOTAL 476 cals today

My stomach is rumbling, but I'm going to try to hold off on eating anything for a while yet, and when I do it will probably be soup, toast, swiss cheese wedge.

Well, didn't have the omlet I was going to.....just not in the mood. So, wound up having the miracle noodle mac n cheese thing. Took the hunger away.

So, now what? I guess I'll make a pot of veg soup. Maybe throw a chicken breast in there, too. That should keep me the rest of the day.

Maybe chicken salad, instead. None of it takes long to cook so I guess I have choices. :confused:

Ate half a bag of raw cauliflower florets. Since I'm doing this thing in maintenance where I'm not counting these calories, they are "free", but I still "counted" them just cause I'm not used to this yet and wanted an idea of where I was at :D

That along with 3 Mini-Moo's in coffee came to 72 calories so far.

S: went crazy with a bag of caramel mini rice cakes (?)
Guess I am DONE for the day ... Stupid rice cakes... but at least they are gone now!

It is because I'm already past my cals and I still have dinner left :)

Some not so clean calories mixed in but oh well. I haven't been eating much of anything the last 3-4 days.

2oz homemade chicken nuggets:o
1 oz cheese
mixed fruit(prunes, coconut, craisins)

deli meat
popcorn(darn you deliciousness!!!:mad:) son brought it home from selling for the cubscouts
homemade tomato soup
a lot of saltine crackers:o

I'm not sure what dinner is going to be..

Having a hot cup of Imagine "No-Chicken Broth" which was on manager's special at Kroger yesterday. First time I've had it. Could be a little saltier, but overall not bad at all. Just 10 calories per cup too.

I'm still under 100 calories for the day!

An odd thing started happening about 4:30 p.m. or so. It seemed like my sinuses opened up and I could breathe a little better through my nose. I started feeling a bit "euphoric" though I don't think that's quite right - "pleasantly alert" might be a better description. :laugh:

My skin had been breaking out for the last couple days due to several things (Halloween candy, too much wine, hormone, etc.) but it not only feels like it's calming down but looks almost "luminous" in the mirror this evening despite the remains of the before-active pimples.

I have a feeling my immune system is benefiting from this near-fast today and that inflammation is calming. :)

Now having 1.5 cups popped Orville Redenbacker (sp?) "Natural" popcorn.

Total so far today: 185 calories.

My day consisted of 482 calories (estimated as best I could)

2 chicken wings, 5 onion rings, and 5 pickle chips

UD tomorrow yay!

It's funny how long I can make a food item last on DD! I seem to want to get every last bit of enjoyment out of it. That bowl of popcorn lasted and lasted since I ate one piece at a time instead of the way I used to do it - tossing it in my mouth as fast as I could! :laugh:

BTW, I think that was the first popcorn I'd had in months!

Anyway, up to 307 calories since I had a Carbmaster yogurt mixed with 3 large cut-up strawberries and 1/3 cut-up banana.

I figure I've put my body through close enough to a fast today, and I felt some benefits come out of it. Time to eat more so I can sleep fine tonight. :)

I am done with my cal's today... But I do have a bowl of Gluc goo that is pretty much calorie free. I used water and a zero cal drink mix packet. I didn't like the taste when I tried it last night, but now that I am hungry ...

Today was an UD for me:

B: coffee w/ h&h, creamer and a slice of cheese Danish
S: salami on dinner roll w/ light butter spread
L: Wendy's single w/ cheese and a small handful of fries (in between hockey games :stars:)
D: crescent wrapped dog w/ cheese, salad w/ dressing
S: 1 square dark chocolate w/ hazelnuts

Brings me to just over 1900 for the day (goal is 1800 or so). Tomorrow will be a MD and I already have most of it planned. :)

Up to 487 calories and I think/hope I am done for the night. I just had a Pure Protein Chocolate Deluxe bar and those are always filling and satisfying to me.

Looking forward to a great UD or MD tomorrow. I don't know which will be which, but either Sun or Mon will have to be UD or a MD, and then Tues can be a DD.
