Mmmm, gluc glop!

Well, I made my first gluc pudding with a cup of almond milk, some pumpkin pie spice, and some Splenda, along with 1 t. gluc. Given the basic nature of my concoction, I have to say it isn't bad. I am, however, slightly alarmed by the properties of the glucomannan! I could make mortar with it if I wanted to... but all in all, a very useful-seeming ingredient to have. I'll look forward to using it in all the different ways you guys have recommended.:)

Okay, so I was trying to look this up, but it is so hard to search this site on my phone. Do you heat up anything before you add the Gluc? Do you put it in first? Last?
I just got my first bottle of it yesterday and want to make some for my dd tomorrow.

It mixes better with cold liquids. Add it last and shake or blend like you're dancing the cha-cha :)

Thanks!

I did make some last night with water and baja bob's mudslide mix.
Can't say I was thrilled... I just didn't like the coffee flavored goo that it created. I think I will try almond milk and something other than baja bob's next time.

I still was going to bring it to work today... hey, if you get hungry you can eat almost anything, but I forgot it at home. Since it is like zero calories for the bowl, I just may try it again for a snack.

I made some with that too...NOT tasty..very bitter! (though added to a choc DD muffin..very nice!)
Try almond milk, unsweetened cocoa powder (1-2 T) and a little sweetner..yum!
Or a cal free drink mix, such as crystal light, with water and gluc...makes a thick, cal free jello type pud.
Or, if you have enough cals...1 scoop protein powder, water or almond milk, and 2 tsp gluc...wizz in blender till really thick...makes a whipped pudding..my current favourite!

The gluc sucks the flavor out, especially sweet taste, so over sweeten it when you start.

I  the chocolate PB gluc pudding I made last week. I used 1 cup FF Calorie Countdown milk, 1 tbs unsweetened cocoa powder, Walden Farms chocolate syrup, 1 1/2 tsp Gluc powder, 4 drops peanut butter extract, and 6 packets of sweetener. Blended in my magic bullet until nice and thick and YUMMY!! 50 calories total for a giant cup of pudding!!

Nice, thick like pudding and sweet!! :yummy:

Yes, I got the idea from your post! I was looking for something easy....
But I tried it with a cup of almond milk, sf caramel syrup and Gluc ... Not bad at all!
