Things I've noticed since starting JUDDD...
Tomorrow will make one full week of doing JUDDD
What I've noticed thus far has been... My stomach is flatter... I have way more energy.. I'm calmer... Not obsessing over food ( the lack thereof, or eating too much) My skin ( face) looks better... I'm taking better care of myself ( guess cause I generally feel better) I'm sleeping better... My mood swings have decreased which makes everyone else around me,..way more happier ![]() I'm actually making much healthier choices food wise on my UD I'm eating MORE veggies now then i have in years!!!... My DD are a breeze, matter of fact, i look forward to them... NO desire to pig out, binge, etc..... I'm stronger then i thought, physically, emotionally and mentally... I can tell that I've lost weight,...don't know how much yet ( will weigh tomorrow), but I can tell in how my clothes fit, plus I feel lighter!!! ** most important**... I feel comfortable in my own skin!! I'm not just "getting through" today, or "handling today", I'm "Living in this day" and all that it entails and tomorrow will be the same.. ![]() My only regret....is that i did not discover JUDDD sooner. I can honestly see myself living this woe...the rest of my life!!

And I wanted to say thanks for posting all this - it is SO interesting to read and I can go down the list and say "yes" to most of them. (I need to get back into exercising though - everyone else on here puts me to shame!) ![]() I love that my stomach is flatter too! I could never understand why on LC, I felt bloated at least 75% of the month. I measured too, so I know I actually was bloated. But on JUDDD - and adding more carbs - I rarely retain water. It's even Tom and I'm maintaining my losses and don't feel puffed up KUTGW, Anna, and I'm sure these benefits will continue. I'm glad we found JUDDD ![]()

Started JUDDD 10/12/11 after LC. MAINTENANCE since 11/12/11, & have lost more weight. I shake things up all the time with my version of Pirate Jenny's MUDDD, my "Fast 5" & other IF. ...low-moderate fat....and eating "healthy" foods 75+% of the time which lets me have real life and indulgences too |

In regards to bloating, I had the same thing when doing LC...even when doing very strict LC.. I pee ( guess its ok to say that here.. , well ok urinate..) way more now with JUDDD, but then again, i drink more now too, mainly in the form of water. In looking down at my feet, they actually look bony, no puffiness at all and no more under eye bags, cause I'm getting more sleep now too!! |

Wonderful to read your post, Anna! I agree with you that this *fast & feast* cycling does great things for our bodies, but to experience so much after just a single week is extra wonderful! Because there is a lot that doesn't even kick in until two weeks, and it just gets better for you after that. Woo Hoo!
Another thing you mentioned was being able to see yourself on this for a lifetime, and I just wanted to mention that in maintenance you don't have to have Down Days of nearly such low calories, so most in maintenance go between their full UD calories, and then often 60% and 70% of that UD number for their DDs. So, practically as much on DDs as on UDs! The exciting thing is that many of us experience an increase in how well our metabolisms work, but I think a lot of that comes from holding real low on DDs and then pounding your calorie number up against your calorie ceiling on your UDs... constantly pounding up against that UD calorie number ceiling, and then down to the real low DD number. And that is going to be what happens during your weight loss period on JUDDD. So don't ever fall into the trap of thinking it will be better if you don't eat so high on your UDs. That's our old-fashioned thinking about dieting. LOL But it doesn't work that way in a *feast & fast* diet concept. So enjoy those high Up Days. You earn them, and they are doing their job for you!
