I walked in and out of work today and my feet are killing me, stupid hills! I'd walk more if there was no hills lol but I'll walk in again tomorrow, I'm in a hurry to fit into them jeans!!!

Way too much time on my hands!

I did great yesterday with swimming, hot tubbing, and the steam sauna. Felt heavenly, as I woke up achy for some reason. Changes in weather/barometric pressure always affects me.
Today has only been floor exercises and hand weights and stretches, and then running around like a chicken with it's head cut off this afternoon. And it just occurred to me that there are probably very, very few people anymore who have done any home killing of the chicken to get their chicken dinner, and so don't even know what that old saying comes from. |

I walked just over 2 kilometres to work this morning and I tracked it with an app on my phone and it said I only burnt 139 calories. All this time I though I had been burning around 250!!! At least it's good for me and clears my head for the day and my legs have muscles on their muscles
I'd love to go into a hottub around now though!! |

Oh my gosh i remember too!!! I used to watch my grandma and my aunt ring the chickens necks when i was a kid. Me and my brother had to pluck the feathers!!!
I usually workout every morning but i dont know if its gonna happen today. I have an interview this morning. Its a second interview so im really stressing and wanting to make a good impression so of course i didnt sleep well at all last night and am just too tired to do a video or anything. I may try to go to the gym later if the interview goes well and i get some more energy!!! I will be a grandma again this weekend! My daughter is having her second. My first grand daughter, im so excited. She is having contractions and will be going to the hospital today.

I made it to the gym!!
Been trying to take it easy and do gentle things like yoga/pilates and walking. But I couldn't resist pumping that iron today! It's nice to miss the gym. warm ups kb swings Leg press- *made knee mad* Bench- 5x5x75(could do more) T-bar row- 5x5x35 Squats to bench RDLs Band pull ups- 3x5 push ups- 3x5, lol..(box width, elbows going 'back') plan is to work up to 3x10 good ones then lower the box height til I'm on the flo') ball abzz- 2x20 rode bike/walked |

30 Day Shred Day 25 today! 5 more days left and I'll have completed the program. I'm getting excited for it to be done, haha. Looking forward to getting back to my sprinting program. I'm a finisher, though, so I'm chugging through. I'm house-sitting this week, and enjoying having my own space to do it, while watching TV (so much more fun), as opposed to closing myself up at my parents' house!
ETA: I also took the doggy I'm looking after on an 80 minute walk and walked to do other errands for 30 more minutes.

Hmm, I'm not sure! I definitely wasn't starting from scratch, I had been doing intense sprint workouts every other day for 2 months before I started the shred. I haven't noticed many muscular changes either, but I do think Level 3 is easier than Level 2, so maybe Level 2 just made me a lot stronger.

I have been switching between doing turbo jam and kickboxing with Kelley coffey Meyer. Get videos are wonderful. I love kickboxing and im using weighted gloves so the workouts are intense. I do weights 2 days per week. I hurt my forearm a while back and kept lifting heavy and kept hurting it even worse soooooo have finally figured out have to take it a little easy so im don't circuit of kettlebell swings with 15lb kettlebell, deadlifts with 2 15 pound dumbbells, squats with dumbbells, pushups and dips. I do circuit of all 5 for 1 min each back to back, 5 rounds. I do this twice a week, kickboxing 3 times per week, all at home in the morning on a empty stomach. On the weekend I go to the gym in the morning and do 30 min on the elliptical, then 30 min random hills level 17. No weights at the gym right now which is hard because I love lifting heavy but I have to wait until my arm heals.
This morning was 30 min conditioning with Kelley coffey Meyer. |

Today was a crazy day. Supposed to be a down day, but I ate a lot of calories because I got up at 6:15, did my 30DS (Day 28...so close!), then drove to Old Rag in VA. (Old Rag Mountain Hike)
Had a great hike and did not need all of the snacks I brought (1400 calories) but I got stuck in maddening traffic on the way home and was way bored and couldn't resist the almonds and choco chips. It's amazing to me how my body was totally able to do 3.5 hours of hard hiking on a 400 calorie breakfast and 180 calorie Luna Bar. |

Annnnnd, 30DS day 30 today. Woohoo! I was very close to skipping today, it was a down day and I went for a 3 hour walk earlier, but I did it, and achieved doing the 30 day shred for 30 consecutive days, 10 at each level!
