Did the 30 Day Shred on a DD today (at 9 PM after a 352 cal day, no less) and it was fine/great. I had a huge UD yesterday (wayyy over cals) which I think helped--very little hunger all day, and felt absolutely fine working out. I may try to work it in every day now!

I did a great Body Combat/Attack mixed class this morning. My energy wasn't at its highest, but I still got a good workout.

Today I did 45 minutes on the elliptical. I threw in a few minutes of HITT just for good measure.

I had a wonderful walk this morning with a good friend, and her fine young Aussie. Three very brisk miles, almost at a breathless pace, but we managed to talk while we went along. Saw lots of deer, bucks with full racks too, lots of birds. This is a nature trail that winds for miles along a stream, through the woods. I'm hoping to get together with her and do this pretty often until it gets really cold or snowy.

I still expect to do some floor exercises and hand weights, stretches this evening. That's pretty much a daily routine.

DId the 30 Day Shred this morning (Day 3, since I've decided to start doing it every day), and a yoga class this afternoon, plus 60 minutes assorted walking for errands. Active day!

Ah man, I'm sorry Linda. Freeze a water bottle then while you are sitting place it on the floor and roll your foot over it. Also, be sure to take some pain meds

I did 35 minutes on the elliptical with some lower body weight training at the gym. Then came home and cleaned my house for over 3 hours. Man it was grimy, amazing what damage five kids will do. All on a DD, amazingly I had energy, but now I am pretty tired and will probably be in bed by 8:30. lol

That's a great workout! I sometimes add weights (either ankle or hand) when I do Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds.

Today was 3.5 miles of said above WATP!

Did abs and upper body (dumbbells) this morning. I find DD workouts more productive lol.

Coming off of a UD I can see why. I tend to lag after a DD

30 min on the treadmill, while reading a magazine @ 2.8 mph, (because my legs are so short, if I walk any faster, I'm jogging)
Couldn't possibly walk on the treadmill w/o doing something else--I have to redirect my attention to a magazine or the TV or else I watch the timer CONSTANTLY. I swear--just like a little kid.

Even though I felt really crummy for most of yesterday, after sleeping all afternoon, I still did 30 day shred (day 4 since I started going every day) at 10 pm, had a great night's sleep, and feeling so much better today. Onto day 5 today!

I have found a pattern with exercise on my DD's, where I fast most of the day (taking a walk in the afternoon if I have the time), eat a meal between 6-8 (usually cottage cheese/tuna/canned chicken and steamed carrots/broccoli/green beans) and then do the 30DS sometime after that. Because I have food in me and I know I'll be able to eat in the morning, it's easy for me to push it out even though it's the end of a DD. 1 scoop of protein powder after.

30DS (Day 6) today. it's a DD, but I did it right now (noonish) instead of at night, like I talked about in my previous post, because i'm babysitting all afternoon and have a feeling I won't be in the mood when I come home!

Did a frantic aerobic class this morning. There were some killer ab exercises at the end, boy do I need more ab work.

I never exercise at the weekend unless we go for a walk or cycle ride.
