It does sound like you need to lay something across your lap before positioning that thing. Something to pad your legs. Maybe even a blanket folded several layers thick draped over your thighs.

Good Morning JUDDDER'S!

This morning was 50 min of Leslie Sansane Walk Away The Pounds. I really enjoy her DVD's and they are easy on my joints. So convenient doing it in the luxury of my own home.

Dropped DH off at his health club and then on to mine this morning. Easy workout and the focus was more on the monthly breakfast the club hosts for us! I didn't remotely exercise off the breakfast calories I was fed this morning. Pretty fun to sin like that sometimes!

Pat - haha..it sure is! I wouldn't mind that once in a while myself.

Sophie - I definitely think it counts. Better than sitting around doing nothing. Enjoy your sinful evening

I'll join in here! A great Zumba class for me today. I don't mind exercising on DDs as I never ate breakfast before exercising.

My exercise today was walking back and forth getting coffee refills a couple of time when we grabbed a quick breakfast at the grocery store late this morning. And that's it for me today, folks!

Every morning first thing before even coffee I do stretching for 10 minutes - it is per Dr. Oz, he talked about it a couple years ago and I have been doing it every morning now for over 2 years, only missing less then a dozen days in all that time. He called it 7 mintues in the morning but mine are moare like 10

Also walked 3 miles today!

I decided to take one more 'sick day.' Do Moms really get those? haha
The house is so quiet when the kids go off to school that it's really hard to leave.
I'll put the energy into cleaning up instead of going to the gym. Isn't it funny how things get so messy when Moms are sick?

I'm also going to use this as a way to try something different. UD to load up the day before the gym. I'll have the good glycogen just waiting to be used for fuel!

Kissa- how do you keep track of miles on your bike rides?

Betty, you deserve it. I think its a really good idea to have the UD before Gym day personally.

I am gonna take a wild guess and say Kissa uses GPS on her phone or HMR to keep track of the miles

I worked on the elliptical for 45 minutes today. My HRM says I burned 533 calories - that would be nice if it was true.

I read the signposts! 5.5 miles each way. Well I did enjoy that laugh.

Know what you mean about houses getting messy when we are sick. Hope you feel on top form for the gym tomorrow Betty.

I went to the gym and did a great Body Combat class this morning.

I made it to the gym!!!!
Oh gym darling, how I have missed you

I had a nice shoulder/back session with 10 minutes on the bike at the end..just to grease the groove.

Plan on taking my own bike out later. It's so spring like! But it's not supposed to last.

Not bad considering I'm still getting over my cold, I slept like poo last night and I did it sans energy drink!!
The music blasting in my ears helped.
I've been having heart palps since June. Getting sick last week meant no gym which meant no energy drinks which also meant no heart palps!!!

I was in denial. I really relied on the 'energy,' to get me through because I pretty much have none. But maybe it's mind over matter?

Nice job Betty! and yes, it is mind over matter in my opinion.

I walked with Leslie Sansane 4 miles this morning. She is perfect to exercise to after a DD

Yes Betty, I don't need to tell you, as a PT, the exercise will end up giving you the energy! Glad you ditched the energy drinks.

A rest day for me today, I can feel the different muscles I used doing Combat, which is good.

Kelly to you walk outside?

Not usually Kissa. I exercise first thing in the morning (still dark outside) and don't feel comfortable taking to the streets at that hour...alone.
