Took my son to the zoo today. It was wonderful. We got to go into an enclosed aviary full of parakeets, cockatiels and rosellas, and hand feed them seed. What fun!

So, about 2 hours and 45 minutes of good ol' walking!

I did 25 minutes on a stationary bike. I was shooting for 30, but I got really lightheaded. It wasn't even that intense, never had issues on the stationary bike before. I had intended to do some weights, but it didn't pass after 10 minutes sitting in the locker room reading, so I quit.

I'm on day 4, it's an up day. Had 500 calories before class at 10:30, this was 2:15. I'm chalking the lightheadedness up to my body just doing its thing reacting to this new WOE I've thrown at it.

DH and I had the most pleasant walk today. We drove to a local nearby park which is on 70 wooded acres and walked the drive through it. Very hilly, so some climbing that had us huffing and puffing. Saw a little herd of 8 deer! They're city deer, so not very easily startled by people, so we got to see them up fairly close before they bounded further away. Pretty fun.

The day was sunny but crisp, and we had a nice time. We plan to do this more often. I'll just do some floor exercises this evening in front of the TV. So easy.

45 min circuit burn Dvd and who knows how long on my stationary bike under my desk at work. I use it off and on all day. I just ordered a Timex heart rate monitor that you put around your chest and then wear this watch and it tells you how many calories you are burning and heart rate. I cant wait to get it so I can be more accurate on knowing what I'm really burning.
