I was thinking about the gym this morning but i think im gonna do a couple dvds. Im thinking of doing TLC 45min with weighted gloves and then doing the cardio/boxing mix for 30 more minutes. I lift weights tomorrow so i dont want to do any weight lifting but on the other hand, since im having 2 teeth pulled today im probably not going to be working out at all tomorrow. Maybe i will do TLC and then do my weights dvd.

Ok, you guys, im telling you, those of you who do dvds at home please check out kelly coffey meyer!! Her dvds are wonderful. She even has a forum with some really nice ladies that do her routines. Kelly checks in with the forum everyday and posts topics and answers questions. She even has routines she has set up so you know what to do everyday. I dont have enough of her dvds yet to do the routine so i just do my own thing but i have not bought 1 bad dvd. They are all amazing!!! I have 3 right now and im waiting on 2 more in the mail. Check her out. You will not be disappointed.

I'll check it out. All my workouts are at home. I did 40 min on treadmill this morning. Maybe stretch DVD later.

I just ordered a really cool rack for my bike with a pull-along cart that snaps to the rack. The cart has one of those telescoping handles that you can pull up and little wheels so that it rolls along the floor/ground. I cannot wait to get it! Then I will be able to bike to the store, and wherever else my little heart desires!

Hi

I have been back into Callanetics since Jan. 30th, and now feel confident enough that the laziness has departed (well mostly) and the working out is "sticking" this time, so I thought I would join the thread.

I do a shortened half-hour version of the 1-hour Callanetics. I do it 2 - 3 x per week.

I also do girly pushups, some "dips", and started some mild rebounding.

When the weather gets nice enough for me, I will start walking around the neighborhood again.

About an hour and 15 minutes working out with weights. Took a break before walking because I got a late start. Walk totaled 5 miles.

2 hour roller skating session at the rink today with Keira. It was packed, so I only burned 478 calories, but it was still fun. I tend to burn more than that if I can skate at my pace and not have to worry about running over any children.

Kmom! Roller skating! Omg that should count 1,000 cal burned. That is tough. Love it but have it done that for 10 years. Ur very good.
Today my exercise was out side onthe below z32 deg. Working making barn doors. But we were inside the barn. Little wind break. I had two pairs of leggings on and then outer sea. And two coats and two pairs of gloves plue a big head and neck warmer. It's was a good day, sun shined.
We r planning to go to Vinginia Skiiiing this winter. Our first time to snow sky. YIKes

Oh, I LOVE to snow ski! I hope you have a great time. It's so much fun! DH has a couple of old injuries which make it difficult for him to ski, so I haven't been in YEARS and I miss it so much!

Planning on taking the munchkin ICE skating today. She's never been, but she's getting good at roller skating. I haven't been ice skating in about 13 years, so this should be interesting.

I would love to try skiing. Cross country skiing I think would be great. I think I'd like skating now that my weight is down. Haven't done that in years.

I walked 5 mi this a.m. and am getting ready to walk another 5 now. I'm making up for time I'll lose this week. I want to get 100 miles in this month....it's a short month plus I will have been gone 9 days out of it so I gotta get it in whenever I can.

Yes skiing! I'm hoping that our ankles r in shape for leaning to ski.
Bunny trail is all I wanta do. Nothing to slope. No way I'm chicken.
My bro n law gave me ankle exercises but forget them. Been doing ankle circles, bench presses and clog raise for a all long. Hope that's enough.
Today I shuffled 2 miles 20:56 mins. I'm pleased.
Suppose to now little tonight so I had to gt it out of my system today. Cause I'll hybernating tmw.

Eieio, if you can ice skate well then you'll be able to ski. Practising ice skating should do the trick I have socks that slide on our hardwood floors so I can practise my side stops in the house. Maybe you could try that to get yourself ready?

I'm on a DD and am *tentatively* trying to incorporate some lighter/slower exercise on that day. Up until now, I've only been exercising on UDs.

So I'm thinking 300 stomach crunches, 30 pushups and 30 squats. Then I'll do a few minutes of yoga poses. If I get shaky I'm stopping!!!

side note, maybe we should a new thread every month for exercise? this one is 12 pages and a bit intimidating to jump into...

Went to the gym this morning and did 20 min on the treadmill and 20 min on the arc, then hit the tanning bed for 15 min. Went to a huge arts and craft show wt the fairgrounds and walked around for 3 hrs and its DD! Should be in the negative for calories. I love that.

Ended up ice skating for just under 3 hours, but with lots of breaks and went slowly for the kiddo. Burned 564 calories per HRM and it's a DD, so I'll be in negative numbers as well. Love that!
