Dottie 10-29-2011 05:22 AM

UP day for me, and not really sure.
B: coffee w/coconut milk (I use the coconut milk for the calories on UP days, almond milk for the lower cals on DD's)
D: maybe fried chicken? (Texas girls: Church's is so much better than KFC, right?)
S: lean pork tenderloin chops, green beans (depends on how many calories at lunch)

wastednuffime 10-29-2011 05:43 AM

DD for me, so...

Coffee, 2 Atkins shakes, the left-over home made veggie soup from Thursday and lots of water...

laceymichelle 10-29-2011 06:22 AM

B coffee 2 tbs hwc 3eggs
D 1 1/2 cup lettuce. Chicken, olive oil and lemon juice

I think I did much better yesterday.

Today I am going to eat some DD soup for lunch to tide me over and then eat out tonight. Not sure where we are going or I would plan ahead.

tiva 10-29-2011 07:22 AM

UD for me (yah! I'm starving).
B: coffee w/HWC, lox
L: grass-fed beef with caramelized onions, red pepper puree, aoili, swiss cheese, kale
D: probably another burger, green beans w/lots of butter, salad, raspberries, cream

paulabob 10-29-2011 07:42 AM

Up day for me.
lunch: Tyson wings with light ranch and celery
snack: low carb tortilla with melted cheese & salsa
supper: leftover roasted rib meat/veggies

Plan - 1600-1700 calories

Lori-s 10-29-2011 08:34 AM

UD and my birthday and a party this evening ... So, I'm eating whatever I want (love JUDD for that) ...

Put some figures into ****** to estimate and I'm sure I'll be fine even with a little sugar and grains (much higher carbs than I'm used to). I won't freak out if I gain some water weight after today. I expect to. ;)

:birthday: Lori! Enjoy your birthday cake and whatever else you want :) :jumpjoy:

sophiethecat 10-29-2011 10:31 AM

I'm doing Pirate Jenny's alternate schedule for JUDDD, where instead of dividing your days by sleep, you do it be another time of day. I'm doing it every 3 p.m. as an experiment, mainly to help me cope with sleep better on DD nights.

Anyway...

UD bfast/lunch day today.

B - black coffee

L - so far, half a swiss roll (you know, chocolate cake rolled around icing?) Ate it with more black coffee.

I still have 200 - 300 calories to eat before I switch to DD.

I really went overboard on the UD eating (and drinking!) last night, but it will take me a bit to get used to this new schedule. Plus I lost a pound today, so my body was forgiving it seems :)

When I switch to DD evening, not sure what I'll have yet. I have all kinds of DD foods to choose from - I'm well stocked thanks to all the great ideas on this forum :)

kris4chloe 10-29-2011 10:38 AM

MD for me, trying to stay at around 1000-1100 calories

B: coffee with creamer
bacon and eggs

L: salad, maybe greek style, need to figure out the calories

D: chicken and green beans?

i am being lazy and need to work out my calories today

Beeb 10-29-2011 11:02 AM

UD and wedding to go to so LOTS of good food! It's a buffet and I'm just going to do some "tasting" of my fav things so I won't go over AND I'm only going to eat the stuff I REALLY love, and that is NOT wedding cake! ;)

It's a Spanish wedding and I'm SURE the food is going to be awesome!!! Not counting calories today but pretty much "know" how to make sure I'm near those 1,800 I need to be near! ;)

Sissiesue 10-29-2011 11:06 AM

UD for me!! I'll go on a long walk today (around 10 miles or so), too.

B: Chicken taco (cheese shell); 1/4 oz. macadamias; 2 cups chai (258)
L: ???
D: Probably some Spam and avocado. Love it with hot sauce.

I wanna stay around 2,200 calories today.

yummm...those are my favorite weddings. the best food ever. i am with you, i am not a huge fan of wedding cake. actually most cake, cupcakes, cookies i can pass. it is the carby, cheesy goodness that goes along with mexican. that is my favorite food, probably growing up in southern california doesnt help. :)

sophiethecat 10-29-2011 11:57 AM

My UD portion of the day is over since I ate a nice salad about 1 p.m. My total calories between last night's UD eating and today's is 1,736.

My salad was a cup of iceberg, 2 slices ham chopped up, 1/2 c. lf cottage cheese, 1 T. parmesan, 3 T. Wishbone Lite Italian. Hit the spot! :yummy:

I will try to wait until 5 p.m. to eat anything else, and at that point will be on the DD side of my day.

The bulk of my UD calories came from homemade General Tso's chicken yesterday and wine. After that, the bulk of my calories would come the Hot Fries, a Pure Protein bar, and that half a swiss roll cake I had today.

I did get in veggies like lettuce, asparagus, onion, mushroom, some cabbage and carrot too.

DD for me today, and after being way too hungry on my last two DD's, I am trying to switch up my DD menu. I am trying to eat a more substantial breakfast with a bit more fat, hoping it will keep me full longer and get me through the day. So here is what I am planning today:

Breakfast- 1 whole egg w/4oz. Egg Beaters, 2 slices turkey bacon, 1oz. Avocado, coffee w/3 tbs. almond milk - 258 calories

Lunch/Dinner- 6oz. Greek yogurt, fresh strawberries & raspberries - 150 calories

Snack- Diet Swiss Miss w/1tbs. Almond milk - 28 calories

This comes to 436 calories, leaving me 64 calories to play with. Lets hope this menu helps me feel more satisfied throughout the day!

I came home from the grocery store with California rolls, hummus and tortilla chips. DH says "you can't eat that!" And I said, "what part of 'I'm in maintenance' don't you understand?". (I haven't told him about JUDDD, just told him I'm increasing my carbs and having more "cheat meals" because I'm just trying to maintain. I will tell him about JUDDD when he notices I'm losing weight. No need to freak him out)>

Yes, I'm having a good time today :D

sophiethecat 10-29-2011 04:37 PM

In the DD portion of my day now, and just got in from the cold.

Had 1 cup Lite Progresso Soup with 1 Oscar Mayer hotdog cut up in it, and 1 slice of Nickell's 35 calorie bread, toasted, and spread with 1 WW swiss wedge.

Such a warming, comforting and satisfying little meal. It's become one of my "go-to" DD meals.

At 165 calories total.
