JUDDD Whoo hoos

I though that we should have our own Whoo hoo thread here in the JUDDD area. I love the one in the main lobby. It is so inspirational, but I don't think they would appreciate us announcing on their thread things like..

"Whoo hoo I just ate peanut m&ms and lost weight".

So...here is our own dark side Whoo hoo thread!

My Whoo hoo today is that I have officially been "on plan" for one month today. I haven't been perfect but I have not quit. Because I have not quit I am down ten lbs

Woo Hoo! A 10-pound loss is fabulous for a single month, especially considering many add in a few more carbs when they go onto JUDDD, and that can very often contribute some water retention weight gain. You're doing wonderfully well! You must have your UD calories set beautifully, and respect your DDs too, of course.

You're inspiring me. Big Woo Hoo for you!

great Idea...i was thinking along the same lines...
as to the "I ate peanut m&M's and lost weight!"..that was MY post ...as you say...best posted on THIS thread!

10lbs in one month is AWESOME!...as to not being perfect...havent met a perfect juddder yet...but have met loads who arnt quitters....and they juddd!

My Woohoo for today? I was at the gym, bent forward on a ski machine, working at a fast pace...and caught sight of my bottom wiggling in the mirror behind me....and WASNT horrified by the sight...
I actually thought...not bad at all...for a 40 year old mum of 2 teenagers!
still...whos idea was it to have the mirror there in the first place.....

Looking forward to many more juddd and any other woohoos!

hugs
Jo

I considered starting this same kind of thread here for the same reasons!

I still want to post "whoo hoos" sometimes on the main lobby board because it might inspire someone else to come to JUDDD and check us out, but you're right, we need to be able to celebrate our own dark-sided whoo hoos like "I ate 200 carbs and lost a pound today"...

I'm so glad we all found JUDDD! Today, my UD I got to eat normal everyday delicious foods at two family gatherings, and I didn't even overindulge. I knew I could have anything there, and ate pretty sensibly, imo.

YAY for chocolate.

Man life is just too short to NEVER have certain foods. I think this is why I struggled so much with LC. I just hated the thought of NEVER

Today for me will be a grilled cheese sandwich... I think either on Ezekial bread or Gluten free...

Whoo Hooo for a grilled cheese

I am so thankful to LC that it did reveal my wheat/ possible grain intolerance. The gas is bad...so I freely choose to never eat regular old bread for now

and another whoo hoo for another lb down!

This cracked me up! But I know what you mean.. it doesn't seem possible, does it.

I ate 185 net carbs yesterday and am down exactly TWO pounds within my maintenance range this morning too.

For years I thought my body hated carbs. Once I started JUDDD I came to realize that my body was starved for them.

This is some serious weight loss people

Dottie...I think we should also include whoo hoos that are not necessarily weight loss related. Everyone will have those days where the scale does not budge right?

Here is a whoo hoo: My daughter who is beautiful and thin....but has to watch everything so closely because she is like her mom who gains easily

Well anyway she wants to start JUDDD too so that she never ever gets overweight!....and she can eat a little more like a teenager without worrying

This is so huge to me as a mom. I don't want her to ever get fat....but just looking at the genetics....she has an uproad hill to fight.

JUDDD to the rescue!

I am so happy to read this! It's just so-o-o-o-o-o much nicer, easier, happier to just never pack on the fat in the first place. And so hard for us these days with all the food out there to begin with, and then so much of it adulterated with additives that I'm pretty suspicious of, etc.

I want you daughter to get to be a teenager who can enjoy all the fun and be able to manage a slim weight at the same time. I remember all of us down at the malt shop, eating cheeseburgers and fries and chocolate malts! Laughing and horsing around and probably driving the waitresses crazy. Sure was fun. Back then we all stayed slim, so it must be something in the foods of today.

I know! My daughter hit puberty early too! I felt like she just didn't have enough time to be a kid without having to worry about "women stuff"

I worried that the puberty was food hormone related...but actually she just takes after my husband's side of the family.

I am such a happy mommy She is on her first UD having a piece of pizza with all the other kids at lunch.

Tomorrow though: Healthy choice light tomato soup and cottage cheese with Mio drops
