Dottie...I think we should also include whoo hoos that are not necessarily weight loss related. Everyone will have those days where the scale does not budge right?

Here is a whoo hoo: My daughter who is beautiful and thin....but has to watch everything so closely because she is like her mom who gains easily

Well anyway she wants to start JUDDD too so that she never ever gets overweight!....and she can eat a little more like a teenager without worrying

This is so huge to me as a mom. I don't want her to ever get fat....but just looking at the genetics....she has an uproad hill to fight.

JUDDD to the rescue!
Yayyy for you and your daughter!!! So glad you found JUDDD for the both of you. You are saving her so much grief and struggle over the years. Whooo hooo!!!!

I know, won't it be wonderful to just eat whatever you want at Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, etc. and not have to come up with low carb substitutes or pass up on the goodies all season long?

That's JUDDD's holiday gifts to us!!!!!

I love how JUDDD frees you from food in a way other diets don't. For example, on my DD I put back 2 chocolate chip cookies to enjoy today. I had them with my morning coffee and never thought about having any more of them.

Last year about this time was when I started gaining the weight. I ate cookies all the time!! Couldn't stop with two.

I'm just amazed because it's a new way of thinking. Like JUDDD changed something in my brain where I don't go nuts over any one food all the time. Nothing is off limits and I'm still losing weight.

Aw, thanks, Pat!

It took a lot of biotin to get it this long!

Whenever I go to the Indian market, though, I covet all the ladies' hair...
theirs all seems to be at least 3x thicker than mine!

On my last DD, Saturday, we went for a drive and didn't realize one of the canal houses was newly refurbished and they were having an open house. We stopped and looked through the lockhouse, and walked a bit on the canal. DD made a s'more over the fire, and they offered us lovely free Honeycrisp apples. My favorite Fall apple!

On LC, I haven't enjoyed an apple in months. On JUDDD, I took an apple, and enjoyed it the next day, which was my UD.

How wonderful this sort of flexibility is. It's great not to be "afraid" to eat something healthy, like an apple!

I just had my first bowl of cereal in months!

If I could only go back and pick the *designer genes* to make me. My mama had thick glorious auburn hair, slight wave. My daddy had fine plain brown hair, and did I say fine?

Guess whose genes dominated?

A sort of scale woo-hoo: no gain after an up day. So I'm down .5lbs after 4 days on JUDDD which is more than I expected with my screwy metabolism!
Oh and I've changed the phrase because it just doesn't fit. "set point" is no more. It is now "stuck point"! (or "suck point" lol)

Ha. I expect JUDDD will un-stick that suck point for you.

Glad you're down half a pound after an UD though. That's usually a pretty good sign of some true weight loss happening. Hard to still probably not be completely empty from an UD while being down on the scale, without that loss being from somewhere. Doesn't sound like it would be from water weight for you, so WOO HOO, you must be losing fat.

ANY loss is a good loss and not gaining from an UD is just ! WTG, Dot!! And I swear JUDDD "fixed" my metabolism and I'm thinking it just may do the same for you!

Jenny, I am in AWE of your hair! (I have fine, thin hair myself...I take after my mom, who has very fine hair and started losing it on top in her 30s...I haven't LOST it, but it is THIN! LC did not help...I was losing tons of hair every day in the shower for the last 6 mons or so. We'll see if that improves on JUDDD)

I have had long hair before, but it never looked THAT great!! I hope your hair loss stops!

I'm on TOM so I really NEED to find a WOO HOO today!! (not in a BAD mood, just not HAPPY either!).

How about this one...we are eating danish meatballs tonight, something which I have NOT eaten in probably a year and a half or more (there is flour in them, and no LC substitute worked for the right taste/consistency). I even had to reject them at christmas, because I was so scared of that flour!

I am going to have some tonight, and some Hokkaido pumpkin to go with them (instead of the traditional potatoes, though I might *steal* a bit of DHs potatoes, too

Stardust--thank you!

Danish meatballs (or any kind of meatballs) sound like a great whoo-hoo to me!
One of the best things I ever ate in my life was a meat turnover at a Scandinavian festival. I don't remember what the filling tasted like, but the pastry was UNBELIEVABLE!!!

I hope you feel happier by now

I do, thank you. The meatballs were delicious...I'm gonna start testing my blood sugar in about a half hour (1 hour after eating) to see what impact they have...*crosses fingers*

Oh, dear...the meat pastry...so good. They have these butter dough things filled with various things, like fish and cheese. I haven't had one of those in about a billion years either. I am a SUCKER for those pasty dishes (or used to be).

The best part is, I get to have all of these things at Christmas this year if I get good blood sugar results...yay!! Funny enough, when I first came here I was not crazy about most scandinavian food. Now I kinda miss it

My whoo-hoo of the day is--
I have "lost" a fleece poncho, a shopping bag, my keys, a 32oz bottle of water, a pair of Crocs, a small purse with my wallet in it, a little tube of hair gel, 2 protein bars and 2 cell phones!!!

To explain, I have to admit that I weigh very often--
(how often? as much as Brian hates the Romans!)
A few weeks ago I got under 290 and sometimes during the day I would hop on the scales with my clothes on to make sure I was not heading too far in the wrong direction.
Seeing a number around 291-292 was okay, since my clothes weigh about 2lbs.

Today I was getting ready to leave the house, had a bunch of things in my hands and couldn't find my shoes--they were next to the scales.
I put them on and wondered--how much do I weigh with all this stuff?

Answer: 291.2!!!

In two weeks, I have lost all this!!! Plus the shoes and cell phones, not in photo
