Such a happy thread this is!

Beeb, what a wonderful opportunity for you! It sounds like the start of a new beginning!

Anna, so glad you didn't have a headache today and are on track again.

Dottie, another lb of water weight down after an UD.......that's wonderful.

Having that spell of headaches come to an end is a wonderful woo hoo. Whew! Glad for that, Anna.

And, Dottie, being at a low weight at the start of a DD bodes well for tomorrow morning's weigh-in doesn't it. This is exciting.

Hope everyone has a Woo Hoo experience of happiness for themselves today. Let's make it a good one!

Wonderful Dottie!

My WooHoo is not worrying when the scales showed me up a pound after my big curry last night. It is only natural. I still feel and believe that I am at my 'goal' weight.

Shopping for thin clothes was fun too, even though I didn't actually buy anything.

Absolutely! Goal shouldn't be a single number on the scale. It should be a window of allowable weight around that central number, to allow for the body to do its normal *thing*, and that will be some bit of fluctuating.

This morning, when I contorted my body in just the right way, I was able to see my oblique ab muscles. I mean, I don't think that's EVER happened. I have no illusions about ever having a six-pack, but a peek of my stomach muscles every now and then might be nice.

This is putting wind in my sails to get busy with my fitness routine! It was also a good way to start a DD!! I just downloaded a new book that's ALL body weight exercises -- no gym needed!

My woohoo is that a friend who hadn't seen my for a few weeks said I looked "tiny"!
Now, at nearly 5' 6" and 132 lbs I am not what I would call tiny, lol, but I translated it as "slender", and was well pleased!

I will surely let you know (and everyone else ) when I find out the info. The journalist handling my feature piece in on vacation and will be back on Monday. It seems they want to do a feature piece where they pick several readers and their dreams and I interpret the dreams for them. I would for this to become a weekly thing and to have US newspapers pick it up, also! It would be a dream come true for me!!

You DH is so kind to care about me! Please tell him his caring means the world to me, especially his interest in our Little Miss and her story.

My whoo-hoo is that my husband told me that my derriere is looking much smaller and to watch myself because he liked it the 'other' way!

I'm releasing more inches than lbs.

That's great news!

Let's see, no loss after a DD (usual lol) but I knida had a feeling it would be the same. So 1.5lbs since Nov 1st - no complaints
My last 2 UP days have been a little below what I'd like(1300-1400 instead of 1800-1900 where I need to be), so upping the protein and fat today

Happy to hear you have experienced weight loss this month too! 1.5 POUNDS since the first is great..

Glad to hear you're going to try to keep your UD cals up a bit more. You can be working on your metabolism a bit too, while you're losing weight. As a metabolism increases a bit, it can then burn a bit faster and help us lose weight at a bit better pace.

I'm really glad you've found weight loss again, Dottie.

Yesterday was a DD for me and I got through it just fine! I found that drinking black caffeine free coffee was just what I needed. I will try other hot drinks as other JUDDDers have mentioned! Oh, and I made a list of low-carb veggies and ate quite a few raw ones...I figure I get more volume that way and I do like them.
