wow! everybody is doing so great!!!! congrats to all of you

I have to say my "woohoo" for the day is that my good mood is back! Also, my energy level has increased! LC brought me down and I was miserable. I didn't realize how miserable until I started doing JUDDD.

I want to thank all of you for your help and success stories. If I continue to lose on this WOE then I'll stick with it forever.

Good job, Beeb!

I think of YOU as getting me interested in this WOE. I posted on a JUDDD thread (about sites for tracking carbs/calories) a while back before I started on this WOE and you said I was welcome to hang out with you guys. At the time (it was only about the middle of September), I thought I could never survive on 500 calories in a whole day, as I had had a terrible time with 1,000 on a Fat Fast. I'm so amazed that I can do this, and that it seems freeing rather than miserable! So thanks for the invite!

Laughing at these! ^ ^ ^

My Woo Hoo today is that I just brought home a 4-pack of lemon-poppy seed muffins. You know... the kind of modern day muffins that aren't muffins at all, but are really just fabulous sweet CAKE, and really big besides?

Well, the part that is the woo hoo is that I haven't eaten one yet because today is a DD! And it's no big deal. DH will enjoy one today, and I'll probably eat one, or part of one, sometime tomorrow. And if I don't, that's not a problem either, as I have the rest of my life full of UDs to enjoy bites of lemon-poppy seed muffins. If I want to.

Not sure about that Dottie! That's one of my big problems...everything is black and white for me and if I feel like I've "cheated" I'm likely to blow the whole day. That's what's great about JUDD....hopefully it will heal that sick mindset.

Pat...have to smile. When I baked that cake I had to put it out of sight or it would have been calling my name on a DD. Planned on actually having a piece of it this morning for breakfast , but then when I got up had my regular oat bran and blueberries. It's amazing when we know we can eat we don't feel the urge and when it's forbidden we don't think we can live without it. I'm really learning a lot about head hunger with JUDD!

Well, Ladies.. I can tell you that it was a wonderful moment one day when it just *clicked* in my brain that I didn't have to eat *it* right now. I could. Or I could wait until later. Or tomorrow. Or, maybe I'd just skip it this time, and DH could eat ALL of the lemon-poppy seed cake/muffins, and it just didn't matter. I had the rest of my life to eat muffins. It no longer had to be THESE muffins, and NOW!

I've done the same thing - put away something yummy for the UD that's only a day away. It's like the song from Annie, "Tomorrow, tomorrow, there's always tomorrow . . . It's only a day away" Ugh I'll probably have that song stuck in my head now

Yes, same here.

I'll make a confession. I find myself feeling more generous with food items. What I mean is, if there is something in the house I like but someone gets into it or eats it all, I'm not a bit bothered. I know I can have more anytime on UDs. There are just so many great foods to have and I don't have to "hoard" certain things or feel panicked about not having certain things right now - there are plenty more to be had at the store! I don't know WHY that got to me a bit in the past, all I know is that that particular issue with food is fading.
