UD for me but I had to try out a recipe on Linda's site: Better than boxed pancakes and they were GOOD! I doubled the recipe and had two. :-) Yummy.
BTW, after my hungry DD yesterday I woke up today realizing I was dreaming something funny: In my dream I was in line for a buffet and they started you off with a huge waffle ice cream cone and you could fill it with whatever you wanted so I filled it with cream puff cream (I know, wow!) and then I saw an old BF in line and was embarrassed with my ginormous cone in my hand as he and his buddy snickered at my gluttony. Lol. Then I woke up...bummed I didn't get to see what else I could have at the buffet! I think I must've been hungry. *shakes head* -Michelle P.S. On good note, I am now down 3lbs since Tuesday...lol. Last edited by Buttercup204; 10-23-2011 at 10:18 AM.. Reason: Added PS. |

LOL!
![]() I love what JUDDD has been able to do for my metabolism. I have great UDs. But, I do good DDs too, to pay for it. Yesterday just over 300 calories, although usually they're more in the 500+ calorie range. Edited: Oh, I will also add, I may not be able to eat all of my supper tonight. But if I'm not hungry enough to get in these calories, you can be sure I will manage the pineapple sherbet. LOL Last edited by SoHappy; 10-23-2011 at 01:05 PM.. |

I finished the day off with some sweet n sour shrimp/cabbage combo.
Still very hungry and have some cals left. Seriously considering some oat bran with gobs of Cinnamon. I got up to 860 cals today. 700 if I don't have oat bran. I figure if I stay within 600-900cals I'm good. And actually I'd rather start in the upper range to save some wiggles room?? |

Figure I'll jump on in ... day one for me - an UD - I normally try and stay around 1800 calories, even though the JUDDD website said I should eat 2200 (I am a big girl

According to ******, I'm at 1755 cal and 37 net carbs.Breakfast: egg/sausage quiche (no crust); lc pumpkin bread; coffee/cream/davinci syrup Snack: coffee/cream/davinci syrup Lunch: chicken salad on la tortilla; carrots Snack: coffee/cream/davinci syrup Dinner: Turkey breast; roasted turnips; green salad w/ranch dressing Last edited by lcklass; 10-23-2011 at 04:43 PM.. |

Well, I sort of screwed up today but not too bad. Not feeling well, I gave in to some things I probably shouldn't have. I was supposed to have a medium day which should be 1100 calories for me (and I wanted to stay under 50 carbs). I decided to log everything. I ended up at 1383 cals and 60 net carbs. Oh well.
I logged my down day plan for tomorrow, and it comes out at 650 cals and 28 net carbs, which is good enough. |

In case anything in your brain is thinking of lowering your metabolism because of the famine you are apparently in, you can eat a lot (Up Day) tomorrow as a way to signal your brain that there is no need to slow the metabolism down to prevent you from starving in this famine... because there isn't any famine, and you eat a whole lot and prove that there is plenty of food available for you. LOLThere is something about eating at the high and then low, high and then low, that forces the body to lose weight, at the same time it seems to trick the brain into keeping the metabolism revved up pretty well. Sounds like you did a real good job today. Enjoy your UD tomorrow. You deserve it. ![]() |

Sunday was a DD for me. I experimented with eating 3square meals. I've found in the past that eating just makes me hungrier. So last time I did JUDDD I fasted until dinner on DDs then ate a normal 500cal or less meal. I would usually try to keep it in the 400 range so I could have a square or two of Lindt chocolate at night before bed. And this time is no different. I was hungry and preoccupied with my next meal. I'm still going to try to eat during the DD except on Friday and see if I can just retrain my mind.
Sunday DD Menu: Brekky: Decaf Coffee Black, unsw 6Tbsp AllTheWhites Egg Omelette 1 Crimini Mushroom 1 Shittaaki Mushroom 2 White Mushrooms 1.5oz Spinach 1/4 tsp Olive Oil 1 tsp Sambal Oelek S/P/GP to taste Lunch: 2c Chicken Stock 1 pkg Shiritaki Noodles 1.5oz Baby Spinach 1 Crimini Mushroom 1 Shittakki Mushroom 1 White Mushroom 1/4tsp Coconut Aminos Ginger Powder/GP/RPF to taste Dinner: 4oz Turkey Breast - Jennie O Turkey Tenders 8oz Broccoli - raw measure 1tsp KG Butter 8 Grape Tomatoes 1/8 Avocado ADS: 1sq Lindt 85% Daily Totals: ![]()
