I am thinking of getting a new scale...

What kind did you purchase?

Is it consistent? (i.e. can you step on it three times in a row and get the same reading?).

That's fab! I am doing a happy dance for you!
I would recommend the ww scales. Cheap, reliable and weigh in 0.25lb increments!

Hugs

I recommend the weight watchers scales too. Mine does .2 increments, and is REALLY consistent and accurate. I used it throughout my last pregnancy, where I was going to the dr and getting weighed all the time. I was w/n a pound of the drs scale everytime I'd go. Sort of sucked b/c I'd convinced myself that all drs scales weigh heavy, lol. But I was never suprised when I got there. In the past I'd go in thinking I weighed one thing, just to be shocked when I was 10 lbs (or more) heavier at the drs. Seems like cheap scales weigh light for some reason.
