Never heard of 3-2-1 Cake before. What a nifty little idea! Does anyone know about how many servings this might make? I know calorie counts would depend on the flavors, of course.

I think it is an old weight watchers recipe...

I love it with white cake and a little whipped cream and strawberries,,,

I have not done the count or servings yet, as i havent made it since i started JUDDD...sorry

I can always throw it all into MasterCook and see what it comes up with and play around with the servings until I get a satisfactory DD number.

I was reading through some old posts in here and came upon some Gluc Pudding recipes. I tried one by Beeb last night. Pretty good for DD snack! I tweaked it, so I'll just put the ingredients.

Chocolate Gluc Pudding

3/4 c. Silk Unsweetened Almond Milk
1 T cocoa powder
1/2 tsp. gluc powder
Sweetener to taste

I put it in a blender (like a Magic Bullet) and whirled it a few times and let it set up for awhile. I added a few squirts of Reddi-Wip before eating.

take a box of Angel food cake mix and combine it with a box of any flavor chocolate cake mix-I use devils food-store this in an airtight container

Sounds good Carly!! I had it tonight with angel food cake and red velvet! I have made it with water and with coconut milk, and could not tell the difference.

I made one with the half and half and one with the water. We liked the water one better.

This is a DD for me I tried broth and threw it out. so I made a cup of diet swiss miss and added a vanilla chi tea bag. Now that tastes pretty good. I love chi tea and it has way too much stuff in it. But tea bag just almost has nothing in it. so if you like a variation on chi tea try it you might like it. 25 calories if you use Diet Swiss Miss. So far 35 calories but the day isn't over.

I just bought some more of the Diet Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate. I would have never thought to mix it with a tea bag! Wish I would have brought an envelope or two with me to work to try! I have no shortage of tea bags here!

I've also heard of adding some of the GF International Coffee mix to a cup of coffee instead of using cream. Gotta try that, too.

Thanks for that information. I am a kindle junkie for sure. Love to read. however most times on food and recipes I almost prefer a real book but that is the only time. I will check these out. I wonder if the 5:2 would be a good plan for me when I get to maintenance. I am doing the UD and DD rotation and having really good luck with it so will continue to do that but I do wonder about maintenance because that is when I always gain back. For some reason that has always been my green light to go eat eat eat. Then here I am again but at this age it is so much harder to lose. Any ideas on this.

Check out the maintence threads on here....you'll see our veteran JB'S discussing how they are maintaining. It's very powerful and you are bound to get some great tips on how to be successful! We are so fortunate to have such awesome JB's who stay active and encouraging on this forum.

O.M.G. This sounds fantastic! I love the Coconut Thai Chai Tea (decaf) and will be running out to pick up some more to try it mixed with the diet cocoa. I might just be able to drink a few cups of this and have a total fast day....thank you for the idea!

I'm transitioning from 4:3 in maintenance to 5:2. I was still losing slowly on 4:3, but if I ever need to throw an extra DD in I know I can.

I am a little challenged when it comes to ordering books and stuff. I do have a smart phone, and laptop. No kindle. How do I order these? Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks for this suggestion Corvettebuff.

We have two different chai tea bags at work and both SF and reg Swiss Miss at work. I will try this on my DD Tues.

Steep you tea bag with some of the water that you use in the chocolate first so you get a little stronger chi taste. Enjoy!

I just steeped the tea, removed the bag, added the cocoa and a bit of stevia. It was fantastic! Thanks again!
