Fuse Slenderize beverage in Tropical Punch flavor. OMG, this is soooo good! I had never had one until I read about it the other night on the main lobby. It has 10 calories and 1 carb for the whole bottle. I keep checking the ingredient label to make sure, lol, because it just tastes so fruity/tangy/sugary but in a good way to me, and it makes me paranoid that it's really full of sugar. But it has just 1 carb and 1 g. of sugar.

I've been saving this for my DD evening tonight. I really think you guys with the gluc powder could make one heckuva treat out of this beverage. It would also be good on UD for anyone that mixes drinks. Or you could use it on a DD in the blender with some lowfat yogurt or something.

You know, I tend to stay away from these dinners because of the sodium and stuff I can't pronounce in the ingredients. What I do now is make 2 or 3 times what I'm having for dinner and have bought those sectioned plates at the dollar store and I put the extra in those plates and freeze them for future meals. Even though I won't microwave in those plates, I have a frozen dinner ready in the freezer whenever I need one.

PLUS, I know the calories, etc. AND what products went into the meal because I make them. And I do this every time I make dinner for myself. It's doesn't take anymore time to double a recipe, cook it and then freeze the extra either!

My sister inlaw just made a drink with coconut rum and the Tropical punch and blended it with ice. It was very good and lite. Cosco sells them by the case in the slenderize kind. Just be careful, not all Fuze drinks are low calorie.

Right now, I'm using 'Powerade Zero' at 0 calories. It is delicious and quite filling when I make it (3 cups) with 1tbs of gluc and 1 tbsp of sugar-free jello!! (thanks, Pat)

I also have used 'Zipfizz' at 10 calories per tube. Got a case of that in Sam's Club......quite delicious!

So far I've had 3 frozen dinners over the week on DD.

Lean Cuisine Steak Tips Portabello with broccoli. 150 calories. It may have just been the kind of DD I was having, but this did not keep me feeling full for very long. But it might work great along with something else that's filling, as part of a DD meal. In other words, have the frozen dinner and a nice salad or some soup or something. Because 150 cal isn't that much anyway.

Michelina's Lean Gourmet Buffalo -Style Chicken Snackers. These are like pizza rolls with a sauce inside. I wasn't crazy about them, and had only 5 - let my Grandma have the rest. But if you like them, it could be satisfying to slowly eat one after the other. The serving size is 1.5 and so the whole box would come to about 300 calories.

Great Value Lean Gourmet Salisbury Steak with mac and cheese. I loved this. I definitely had to add salt to both the steak and the mac&cheese, but it was a satisfying comfort food. Eaten slowly, I almost couldn't finish it. It's 260 calories for the meal. Was just under $2. I love the high protein count too - 25 g.

Yummy on the mixed drink, Ashley!

Yes, one has to be careful to just get the Slenderize kind of Fuze.

I might get another one and blend it up in a smoothie with some fruit. But I'll probably just want to drink it straight, lol.

I had it before bed, and felt like it did suppress my appetite. I lay in bed listening and feeling my tummy rumbling from no solid food, but felt no hunger at all.

DD fruit smoothie

One of my favorite morning options is a smoothie. Been drinking them since we were doing our raw vegan experiment.

1 cup of Great Value (or comparable) no sugar added frozen mixed fruit (strawberry, peach, mango, pineapple)
1 cup of Diet V-8 Splash

Let the frozen fruit defrost about 10 minutes. Add juice and blend until smooth. Delicious. Tastes like a slushie. And lasts me the majority of the morning. I can take my vitamins with it and not get queasy.

Sounds great! Do you have a calorie count, or an estimated range depending on kind of fruit used?

Weight Watchers Smart Ones Grilled Flatbread Chicken, Mozzarella, Marinara...

290 calories, 18 g. protein. Was pretty tasty and filling. Kinda like you're eating pizza only it has chicken.

I looked it up.

Great Value Berry Medley. A serving is just a bit over 5 oz. and 70 calories.
Diet V8 Splash (tropical blend) is 8 oz. for 10 calories.

I'm going to try this soon

I am pretty new to JUDDD, but for me, so far, egg beaters give me the protein I need for brain food on down days. I eat lots of veggies (mostly broccoli, cauliflower, and lettuce), plus I get extra fiber on dd's from GG's Scandinavian Crispbread. I use Walden Farms strawberry spread on the crispbread and WF salad dressing on my veggies. My favorite WF dressings are the Sesame Ginger, the Bacon Ranch (veg), and the Chipotle Ranch.

Do you use these on your DD days? If so, how are estimating the calories?

I must try the miso idea!
A tablespoon of miso paste is 40 calories according to MyDailyPlate, and chicken broth ranges from 10 (probably boullion cube broth) to 100 (which doesn't make sense to me at all). Progresso's chicken broth is 20, and Wyler's is 30, so I usually estimate 75 calories for the broth/miso combo.

I also like Steak Umm steaks on DDs. 100 calories each, easy to cook up with some onions, and especially lovely if you chop it up in the pan and melt a wedge of Laughing Cow into it for about 150 calories (250 if you cook two steaks... it all depends on what I had for lunch). Yum!

Probably because of the potential fat content, especially in homemade broth.
There's a big difference in how much fat I have to scoop off broth made from leftover bones as opposed to fresh pieces like chicken backs.

Just found some Arctic Zero ice cream for 35 calories per .5 cup and 150 calories for a pint.

Now, I'll probably save this for UDs, but for a quickie on a DD, I can surely have a cup for 70 calories.

It is quite good!

Sounds good, Dottie!

Now to see if my local Publix or Winn-Dixie carries it.

I did see where Wal-Mart may carry it!!

I'll find out tomorrow! Anxious to try it as I've read some pretty good reviews about it.
