Seriously though, it seems so scary to eat MORE when I've been programmed for so many years to eat LESS. But it I don't eat enough calories, I gain. Thanks so much for sharing; it's quite an encouragement CONGRATULATIONS!!!! ![]() |

Having a ball eating foods I've said "No" to for so many years -- knowing they're good for me! Sour cream, butter and more butter, bacon... and now I know about the wonders of coconut oil. Too much FUN! |

Today, a DD for me, I actually agree! This is FUN!! I had hot green tea this morning, so no half and half; no calories. Could not believe the day went by and I was not hungry and the only thing I had was cucumber water. Yum!
Found myself with so much energy this afternoon I couldn't believe it!! What would have been the shlumpiest of slump times in bygone days (3:00 p.m.) was the high point of my energy! I took advantage. Got myself to the gym. I did 60 minutes on the elliptical; 60 minutes of weight training and then half an hour in the pool with my Aquafit water weights!! Then I came home and cooked an awesome dinner which DH is woofing down right now and I'm trying to decide whether to eat or just let this become a DD fast day. And, I'm doing laundry! Can't express how happy I feel right now!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() :h yst:![]()

I find that a good dark chocolate bar or half of one is a good calorie upper. And good for you. I try to only eat sugar free low carb unless I run out. I live in a small town and have to drive almost two hours to Portland to buy them. So worth it!

Bumping again because it is SO important to try to eat up to or close to those UD calories!
Less is NOT good on JUDDD and has been proven time and again so PLEASE get those UD calories in there by upping your fat, or finding good food (not junk) to up those calories. It REALLY does make a difference in how JUDDD works it "magic"! ![]() |

Great posts! I was about to reduce my calories for today's UD and am convinced not to do this now. This is actually my week #1 after not doing anything since March except maintain. I need no more than about 1100 to actually lose. It just doesn't work any other way.

I so agree, but it has been lovely seeing a couple of posts this week.
I am so silly, but I really miss my on line friends when they disappear, I am worrying about a few of our JUDDD BUDDDs just now. ![]() |

I agree with what you are saying about wondering where buds are when they just disappear. Have done that myself I admit. Maybe it just isn't working for them and they move on. My UD yesterday went well and I am still on track and ate up to my limit yesterday! Don't think I will post on the daily tracker anymore because it is easier to just do posts like this one. When I get down to 160 I will be a true believer I can tell you.

Thanks for the bump, Kimberly! Good info to keep in mind--I've had 2 UD's so far, and I'm still in awe that I can eat some of the things that I'd deprived myself of for so long.

I had a difficult DD yesterday, was feeling very deprived and miserable and my UD's are so out of control that I was seriously thinking about quitting JUDDD and just counting maintenance calories on a daily basis. However when I hit a new low on the scales today I realise I have to trust and keep my faith in this program. No matter how bloated I feel on UD's and how deprived on DD's there is no doubt about it...this program works and I'm in awe of it.

Hi Familyvet,..yes this is good info, I fell into the thinking that I shouldn't eat so much on ud's ..but that's wrong..we need to eat all of our calories on the ud's and stick with the limit on dd's...cause that's what works...BTW , what kind of puppy dog do you have there?...is he a bulldog..or something else....anyway..what a cute doggy.

Thanks! I'm having a tough time with this, as I'm sure we all do in the beginning.
Hmmm... maybe some peanut butter? I like that with apples, fudgesicles, oatmeal, toast... |
