Mimicream

I posted on the main lobby about this great find but wanted to alert my JUDDD BUDDDs, too.

Do a google search for Mimicream and look at the unsweeteneed coffee creamer there. It's made with almond and cashew and it's VERY thick and creamy! 10 cals and 0 carbs for 1 TBS serving!

I'm enjoying a pot of pumpkin spiced tea with this creamer and a bit of sweetener! It's like dessert in a cup for 10 cals!!

It IS a great product! I used it a lot at a vegan kitchen where I used to work.

For Googling, though, the correct spelling is MimicCreme

It cost about £3.50 online here. Do you think It would be ok to freeze into icecubes...and use as needed?

Maybe...but it might "curdle" a little bit when you melt it.
I opened a package or two that weren't as creamy as they should have been; they left little flecks/blobs of stuff...It wasn't spoiled, but it looked unattractive. I put it in a soup and all was well!

Honestly, though, for the price...I always wondered whether, if you had a good blender and could find (or make) a very smooth cashew or almond butter (or both), you could just make your own "creme" by adding to water.

If you look at the ingredients, it's just nuts and water and it seems like a lot of money to pay for that!!!

This is an idea! But at $2.99 a nice sized container I think I'll just buy it for now! And thanks for the corrected spelling!
