Isn't it amazing...

How much a TBSP of creamer or salad dressing REALLY is when you measure it as opposed to "eyeballing" it? LOL!

OMG YES!!!! I was "drinking" so many calories until I started to measure! I think I was putting as much as a 1/4 cup of cream or half and half in each cup of tea or coffee!

Yep I think I was too with the creamer cuz when I measured it today it was NOT as light looking as it normally was...just gonna have to enjoy that extra cream on my UD! Also noticed my salad bowl didn't have a pool of dressing in the bottom of it! hahaha! It was still good tho...

The longer I do this WOE the more I'm seeing how I over used a lot of ingredients; salad dressing, oil, cream, etc and covered up the good flavors of my food. Everything would be swimming in these ingredients and because I would put so much dressing I didn't get to taste the veggies in the salad, or I had so much cream that the taste of the tea or coffee was drowned out.

Less is more now and I'm really enjoying the nakedness of my foods again. It's very !!

Omg yes. It was the ranch getting me. Now I water my ranch down to mke it go a little further and you are so right beeb about really tasting all the wonderful veggies and herbs on the salad. I'm so glad I'm not drowning my salad in ranch dressing anymore.

Yep, I faithfully measure salad dressing and my half and half. If I didn't measure, I would use much more, I am sure.

It's true! I used so much cream in my chai tea! When I had to measure the cream, I was amazed how much better the tea actually tasted!

Also, cooking oil. I can not honestly tell any difference in my meals whether I have used 1tsp of oil or 1T! all those extra cals, for no difference in taste!

Hugs
Jo
