Up 3.4 overnight after a carby Sunday (and not a medium day at all). So 4 pounds up from Saturday morning's number, and 4.8 over my all time low the Saturday before.

Back to 131. I realize it's water, but feeling a bit down about it. It's higher than when I started in September.

Paula,

I GET IT. I'm sorry. I wish I had the right words. I know until you see the scale drop back down, nothing is going to console you. It WILL go back down, but, in the meantime...$&%^^.

Don't feel too bad, you were brave to get on the scales. I wasn't prepared to do that today.... Still enjoying the memory of the 126, lol.

UD today but I still haven't started eating.

Let's hold hands Paula - I also had a very high cal/high carb Sunday - and I'm up 4.5! But I'm truly okay with it! Lesson learned and I'm looking forward to my DD today - nothing to eat until dinner which is then grilled salmon marinated in sesame ginger along with some lightly herbed noodles - all for 610 calories!

And tomorrow will be a better UD - weekends are just trouble!

I really wish I could not weigh. I am so addicted to the scale!! I even weighed while on the cruise. Trust me, I weighed alot more right after the cruise. Currently being 2 pounds over is a miracle of sorts, lol.

Week #1 Weigh-in....OMG

I had a very difficult MD yesterday....hungry all day and worried about how I would accomplish a DD today following it. Well, no worry....after getting on the scales this morning, I have all the motivation I will ever need for sticking to a DD. I started last Monday at 290 and this morning weigh 281.5!! I had to get on the scale three different times to even believe it.

The calculator gives me at 20% loss UD (2306) and DD (461). My week looked like this:
11/7 -DD- 500...290
11/8 -UD- 2235...287.5
11/9 -DD- 670...287.0
11/10 -UD- 2249...284.0
11/11 -DD- 681...286.0
11/12 -UD- 2321...283.0
11/13 -MD- 1338...283.0
11/14...281.5

I have (honestly ) never done JUDD before where I actually counted calories on both DD and UD. I am just ecstatic I am just so determined to see what a second week will bring...although I'm very realistic that these kind of losses won't continue. I'm just hoping I can lose 2lb/week.

The DD's have been "white knuckled" this past week and not easy. I went grocery shopping yesterday and think I'm better prepared to have more volume this week with lots of veggies thrown in with the protein.

I almost feel guilty being so excited over such a big loss when some of you are really struggling. It's just that I have such a HUGE amount to lose and it's my first week and water weight coming off. I've never done Atkins or very LC and my DD's have been pretty much all protein this week and under 20g carbs, so I'm sure that has added to my loss. Everytime I've been struggling, I have come here and gotten the inspiration and motivation I needed to keep on going one more day. I thank you all!

I JUDD! (Thanks, Leo....you know you were my initial inspiration!)

Oh, please no guilt I am ecstatic you have done so well your first week!

You are providing motivation for me!

And I am on the tail end of 18 months of weight loss...heading for the finish line, it's a totally different place mentally, so I need all the motivation you can hand me. Lose, girl, lose!! It's hard for me to be motivated looking to go from a size 8 to a size 6, when I started at a 22W. It almost seems a bit greedy.

I finally got down from my 136.5 that I couldn't seem to get under (weight today, 136).

I have to admit that I have been very rigid in my calories the three weeks I've been on JUDDD. Today, I'm taking a friend to lunch to have Mediterranean and I don't see a way to really measure what I eat, which is probably a good thing. I guess I don't see being rigid all the time as what I want to do! Guess it will be an interesting day.

Up 1.5# but still under that dreaded (and previously very sticky) 140s. Had a higher than usual MD yesterday and a higher than usual UD on Saturday. This was a very hungry weekend for me! But, this is a DD for me, mercifully.

Whew period just ended and finally a lower number on the scale.

207.4 this morning, which is the weekly weigh-in number. (edit: down from 208.8 two days ago). Still down 2.6 pounds this week despite having the same number or higher at 2 of my weigh-ins. Working my way down to the 200s! I'm pretty sure I am still holding a little water too, so we'll see what happens in 2 days.

As I've said earlier, even 30 pounds down, the changes in my body have not been dramatic. Lately, I've been experiencing a feeling that my fat is on me, not part of me, and I think that is a very good NSV. Maybe has to do with getting a little more toned underneath? I don't know, but hopefully it won't be long til it's neither part of me nor on me!

Thank you....sure hope I have that problem someday (to be at the tail end of my weight loss, that is). You have done fantastic!! I hear the real struggle begins once you have reached your goal ...looking forward to it.

And thank you all for your support and encouragement. All you JUDD BUDD's are the best!
