Congrats everyone!! I'm new to the plan so still trying to figure out my true numbers and what I'm comfortable eating. I go back and forth from thinking I need to keep it low carb to reduce cravings/appetite and be able to complete a 'true' DD or biting the bullet and trying high(er) carbs which scare me because I think it triggers cravings which I worry about controlling on DDs.
I'll work it out, but I just want you all to know that you're all so inspiring! The inch losses are truly incredible too! KUTGW everyone!! ![]() |

Shari, I know you will find the balance of foods that you want to include in your menus as you do JUDDD. This is just something we can't help you with too well, as JUDDD isn't about the food choices, only the calories. I'm sure you will do well on the plan however, regardless of what carb level you choose to eat at. Glad you're here with us! |

Checking in late today, woke up late and rushed off to work.
Congrats to all the losers! I had a DD that turned into a MD and then ended up turning in an UD, hehe. ....but work up to a 2.2 lb loss, seriously was NOT expecting that after 2 UD's? What the heck. Decided to make today a MD and do a DD tomorrow. Just getting over ovulation and have been very very hungry. Can't help but think that my body was needing those extra calories, hehe. That makes a total of 8.6 lbs lost on JUDDD in a little less then 3 weeks (will be 3 weeks tomorrow). So much closer to ONEderland and haven't been 210lbs in YEARS! |

Kris, you are ROCK'in JUDDD
. I am so happy for you. Keep up the good work!I am down a bit after my UD. Stats to the left. We leave tomorrow and I will check in with you in a week or so. I am going to unsubscribe from the thread to keep my email to a minimum. I am really hoping to maintain or not have a gain of more than 2 pounds on the cruise. We'll see. My plan is to have dessert every other evening. Have a good week ALL. |

just when I think I have it figured out...
yesterday was an UD and of course I weighed myself this morning, haha! But my weight didn't change. I was expecting to see those 2lbs..I even had some naughty foods like popcorn, crackers and rice. (not a lot mind you )Today is a DD. Will be interesting to see what tomorrow brings. And then I am NOT GOING TO WEIGH AFTER AN UD!!! lol I'd actually like one weekly weigh in, but I'll start with just weighing after DDs. ![]() |

Ok, here is my live-with-it plan: DD t,th,sat MD sun UD M,W,F
Also, weighing only on Wed morning, after my BR trip and before eating or drinking. Scheduling a MD is new for me since I had only altered inbetween UD and DD. That left me with 3 DDs one week and 4 DDs the next week. I've read where other people do schedule MDs and I think this will help to get my mind away from the "on a diet" way of thinking and more of a "lifelong WOE" change which is, of course, what the end result is.So, that means today I can have up to 1200. The more I think about it, I'm thinking that MDs may actually do me some good because it gets me away from the extremes of the DD/UD. Extremes I can handle, but MD seems, at least for me, to require a bit more control. Anyway, we'll see how this works. Off to go get more coffee with cream... ![]()

Wow.
Today is Day 4, my second UD (I started on a DD). I stepped on the scale this morning and I am down 2.6 pounds from my starting weight (129.2 to 126.6). ![]() I assume I'll have a major weight bounce tomorrow, but we shall see. Trying not to get too overexcited, but failing! I've found the DDs pretty doable so far, and I didn't go crazy on my first UD, as I'd thought I would. My calories are higher than many people's since I'm tandem nursing, but still, I'm pretty proud of myself! ![]()

Stayed the same after my 1570 up day. That was just luck though since Bernice showed up before my weigh in (and she'd been absent for 2 days). I'm sure that's TMI ![]() I'm really excited, have a church potluck today. I plan on picking and choosing anything...guesstimating 500 calories for lunch.I think I'll be a little church'd out after today. We attended a different church's service last night so we could see my DDs friend's baptism, and then today there is service, potluck, and an installation ceremony back at the church for our new assistant pastor. But my kids will be playing music - they were supposed to last week but our director was sick. So will be so much fun to see DD on the drums and DS on his trumpet. ![]()

210 even this morning, down from 210.6 on Friday morning! This means I'm officially 30 pounds down from my starting weight, 63 days ago!
Next milestone is at 209 lbs, when I will no longer be obese! Funny thing is, I've lost 30 pounds and I can barely tell in my body. I wonder what the magic number will be where I can really notice! I started taking measurements 3 weeks ago and there's been modest reduction, and I can *tell* in my pics, but just barely... SIGH. It'll happen eventually! (THough sometimes I have this irrational fear that I'll lose all the weight I need to on the scale but my body will still look exactly like this...)

Congrats, 30lbs is wonderful!!
What about your clothes? They must be hanging off you by now. It's hard for us to see the weight loss, we're often more critical of ourselves..especially with clothes off. One day you'll walk by the mirror and not believe that's you..that's when I realized I'd lost a lot of weight. Before that, I really couldn't tell except for when wearing my old clothes. You've done amazingly...KUTGW! |

I love reading all the loss. Combined with my own loss, it keeps me motivated.
Weird thing I noticed this morning. I actually like the feeling of an empty stomach more than I do a full one (on second thought lets change that to a stuffed one) |
