Hi everybody; my power just came back on about an hour ago after a full 6 days of being off!

I'm a little sad....
After being stuck in the 280s and 290s for at least 2 years (280.0 was the absolute lowest I'd seen in 2010), I was very excited as the scale was heading down and was looking forward to seeing 279.something soon...

But I went straight from 280.6 yesterday to 277.2 today!!!

Ha ha! I was kidding! I'm not sad at all!!!

Until a couple days ago, I did pretty well keeping my UDs & DDs straight, considering I had little access to water/stove/refrigeration...but then I got sick and feverish, and I think yesterday was supposed to be an UD but I could hardly eat at all...I'm not sure what today is going to be (and it's 6pm here, lol)...all I really want is warm tea and broth...

I don't know when I'm going to be able to catch up...I hope everyone has been doing well!

yes. This keeping track of calories is new to me!! But I promise I haven't gone totally nuts, eating whatever I want of those calories, lol. My body likes it when I'm still very clean with my food choices..but eventually I think JUDDD will be forgiving with every once in awhile 'not so clean,' foods everything in moderation doesn't equal everyday.

I'm sure you'll see good results soon...and be sure to measure when the scale isn't kind! Hope you see inches moving too!

Hope we both become big "losers" soon!

One of two - I have my numbers set in my head at 500 and 1500 which averages out to be only 1000 calories per day. But it doesn't usually work out that way! I usually have soup on my down days or a salad with a couple of snacks plus coffee with half and half every single morning. I'm coming from low carb but I've dappled in a real sandwich, cookies, halloween candy, Chinese chicken salad, angel food cake, cheetos, and a few other carby things!

I had a mid day today and ended at 935 calories so I can go to 2 parties tomorrow and indulge. I KNOW I'll be going over my 1500 but I'm not too worried about it. I'm not a perfect JUDDer by far and I have had 3 mid days in 10 days in anticipation of needing an up day due to fun things happening in my life Good JUDDers probably don't have so many mids. Here are my calorie numbers and the weight from that morning (I put this on an Excel spreadsheet):

445 118.6 Down
1174 115.8 Mid
1515 115.6 Up
315 116.4 Down
970 115.4 Mid
2000 115.8 Up
400 115.8 Down
1832 113.6 Up

I am up today. That seems to be a theme lately with me, lol. Yesterday was suppose to be a DD, and it was until around 7pm, and then I added calories that turned it into an up day. I have never deviated from a DD before. I think I am already in vacation/surgery mode. Today is an up day, and I am going to strive for a down day tomorrow. We leave on Monday. My PLAN is to weigh daily and use the gym while on the cruise.

How much more are you trying to lose?

I am down 2 lbs again. It's the same 2lbs going up and down like teeter totter.

yesterday was the downest DD yet, lol. Not sure what today will bring. I messed up cause I want Sunday's to be the official 'weigh in,' take measurements day.

Betty, that is great that you are down again. It's better than going in the other direction . I'm really just trying to maintain, but, am at a higher range than I would like. I like to maintain around 144-146, so not much of a difference. I'm having cosmetic surgery on Nov. 17th, so I suppose it doesn't REALLY matter, lol. Whatever I settle at after surgery I will maintain at that.

I'm down .8 this morning after a kinda high DD yesterday. Today will be an UD...not sure what I'm gonna eat though, which is unusual for me. Generally I plan out a good part of my UD ahead of time so that a) I don't go overboard, and b) I don't eat too little throughout the day and find myself at dinnertime with 1000 calories still left to eat. So this may be a challenge for me. Both of my boys have away hockey games today, so I'll be doing a bit of driving, so I'm worried I may not make my calorie ceiling today...I need to go plan some things out.

I'm still not quite recovered from last weekend's 4-day UD fest...I'm still .6 over my low from last week. Admittedly, I have been eating junky carbs in my calorie totals that I really want to cut back on. <sigh> ...just one more reason to plan a little better for my UDs.

Congrats all!
Same weight after a really big up day, about 2100 cals. I'm shocked, on straight low-carb if I'd eaten 100g carbs and 2100 cals, the scale would be up 5lbs guaranteed!

Finally got a nice juicy drop! 1.6 overnight after my third day in a row of 127.8.

Out of drops, so calling this 'round' of hhcg/JUDDD over, and moving to straight JUDDD. Should be okay...there's not enough time to really get hungry what with every other day being fully fed.

I didn't do too well overall, but that's because I had trouble on my up days keeping my calories under control. I think I've got that licked now (barring ovulation hunger days).

Results don't sound impressive - 130.4 to 126.2 over 8 weeks. However I've lost 8 inches...so that's really good for me and I'm happy! I've lost an inch and a .25 from my waist, and inch from my belly (biggest problem area) and bits and bobs from elsewhere. Body fat was 28.9 the day I started, and 26.8 this morning. This plan definitely helps preserve the lean body mass!

I want to thank everyone for all the warm wishes I've received on this thread, I wish I could respond to everyone each time, but I get a little dizzy trying to keep up with this thread. But I do appreciate each comment, especially being such a slow loser like I am. There have been times I felt like throwing in the towel and buying a nice big bag of chips.

I'm going to keep trucking with JUDDD until I reach goal. Whether it's December or June of next year. My bet's on June!

Here to congratulate all who are down on the scale!

It is so encouraging to read all of your successes!

I am fairly stable right now, and am actually grateful for that as this past week my calories were all over the place. Gives me confidence that when I do get down to my goal, I will undoubtedly, be able to maintain.
That to me is worth all of the DDs which I am finding surprisingly easy; actually easier than UDs. I had a tendency to overdo this past week!

I'm drinking some Herb-Ox broth right now since I didn't have any chicken bones in my freezer, and it's a nice substitute.

Have to get more bones together.
