I think I've successfully become a little less scale obsessed, and all it took was storing it off the ground! I know I'm doing everything on JUDDD correctly right now, so I really don't need to weigh every day. I would like to move to weighing once a week, but I've been weighing every other morning post-DD and it's working great right now! Feelin good about it! The other thing I've been doing that I'm liking is putting my new weight into the JUDDD calculators and adjusting my cals after every weigh-in. That way I have a number a few calories lower to aim for and there will never be a big jump or a (hopefully) a stall caused by eating up to old calorie ceilings.

ANYWAY, the goods are...weighed in at 212 this morning, down from 213 two days ago. Woohoo! Calorie counter estimates a combined deficit of 2730 from those two days.

ETA: I'm very close to a non-obese BMI!!! 30.42 right now. When I weigh in at 209, I'll officially be "overweight"!!! (not something I usually cheer about...hahaha)

Wootwoot! What are your UD calories again? Are you going to keep that number the same now that you're at goal?

Yesterday was an up day. When I weighed this morning I was pleasantly surprised to see that I was back down to my lowest weight so far that I saw last Saturday (before my crazy weekend). Today is a down day and I'm expecting to see a new low tomorrow.

Since I haven't been online enough these last few days, I finally entered this thread to read and get caught up, and OMG.. you Guys! You people are rockin' the JUDDD! Lots of good weight losses being reported. That's so exciting!

I hope to be able to keep caught up a little better from now on. It took me several pages of reading to get to the end today. LOL

Up day = 2169 (should be 1650) and 62 carbs. But I did 2 Zumba classes and had a wonderful meal out with DH. My first risotto for about 4 years. So not the LC I was committing to earlier. I am more that 2 lbs under the goal weight I have had for years so I can do this.

Kissa,

I think you are going to be just fine. I know 62 carbs may sound like alot to you, but, it's really not. JUDDD is very forgiving. Sounds like a wonderful meal out with dh. And, wow, TWO Zumba classes, way to go.

Thank you Marie, for your words of encouragement. I was quite pleasantly surprised to see the carb number. That still counts as 'moderate' carbs in most peoples books, doesn't it?

It was higher calorie than I should eat but all my Down Days have ben lower than 500. Anyway, it was the right thing to do this evening.

You are very welcome. Yes, it is considered moderate. I will be very surprised if you are affected by the extra calories. I know exactly what you are saying about it being the right thing to do this evening. Dh and I have really enjoyed some nice evenings out together since I've been on JUDDD.

You're not really supposed to have two DDs in a row, you know, Marie...

I know, guilty as charged. I am such a rebel. I needed tomorrow to be an UD as I am having lunch out(mexican). Also, I thought I would try to get down a bit before I leave on my cruise Monday. It will be interesting to see if it really makes a difference.

Morning.
I got rid of 2lbs. yay. Still 2 lbs away from my low last week of 184. I've had two DDs in a row. Not intentionally, but because I have a cold and it just happened that way.

Not sure what to make today. Just trying to ride this crud out.

just down 1.4 after my DD yesterday. still sitting 3 lbs above my low on 10/22. which really frustrates me as i know how i got so high (birthday treats) but i am now eating the same way i did to GET to that low, but now it's not going down like it was....will just keep pressing on.

and how is it people have a drop after an UD, i just don't get that. i always have 2 pound or nearly 2 pound gain after an UD no matter if i eat HC or LC.

Cruz- that IS odd. hmmm.
Enjoy your Mexican
I woke up famished at 1230am..my tummy was grumbling lol.

I think I'm going to go back to weighing at the end of the week(after a DD)
The ups and downs are getting to me.

I say it but will I do it?? lol

For ex, if I weighed in on Sunday at 188, I might have missed todays reading at 186.

Yes, Betty it IS odd, lol. I won't be doing it again anytime soon, lol.

I wish I could only weigh once a week or so, but, I am an addict, and I weigh throughout the day. Typically, by 6pm the night before I can tell what my weight in will be the next morning. It showed a gain for me coming, which was perplexing, but, it's okay. For myself, I have gotten use to the up and downs.

Emky, Betty, lovely losses. Hope the cold goes quickly Betty, you have enough on your plate.

Dazy, yes, keep pressing on, that is the right attitude. You have so much stress, and that does make our bodies play up sometimes.

Cruz, now that is a puzzle! I am at a loss to understand that, except that as SoHappy says, we aren't supposed to do that, lol. enjoy your luncheon.

I was down .2 lbs after yesterdays carb and calorie fest. I had done 2 workouts so had a lot of 'clalories in the bank', so to speak.

Emky & Dazy Love the new avis!

Dazy, hope you get back soon. I am still searching for that elusive 127 low from Oct 8th.

Hmmm, usually if I drop after an Up Day, it's because I didn't drop after the Down day, or the drop was really small. I am definitely a two day effect girl. Probably the reason my weight has been so steady...the gain from the up day cancels out part of the loss from the down day. Here's my last few weigh ins, it's funny:

thank you, paula.

for me...if i had only had one UD that weekend i had my low of 131.8 instead of 2, i don't think i would be where i am right now b/c i always have a nice drop after a DD. so that's why i know JUDDD will be great for maintaing once i ever get to my goal weight. but since i did UDs both sat and sun that weekend, it really set me back. what i need to do i think is just be way more mindful on my UDs.

I am looking at the weekend to come with some trepidation.

I have a meal out on Saturday (DD) evening with family (after a long bike ride, weather permitting) and a restaurant lunch with my 95 yr old FIL on the Sunday (UP) lunchtime. I am wondering whether I can do a MUDD somehow.

Any suggestions appreciated.
