Finally got scale movement after my Up Day. 127.8 (one pound lower). Still .8 above my lowest weight October 8th. Can't wait to bust through the next level. Would love to be below 125 for Thanksgiving.
My appetite seems in control, and I'm definitely keeping to my up day calories now. Took some willpower and white knuckling at first (even with lowcarb!) Wish I could do personals, everyone is doing terrific! |

I am a type 2 diabetic so go in for 3 month checkups. Well yesterday my Dr. was kind
of pleased. My blood pressure was fine, I had lost 25 lbs and my A1c was 5.8 which is in the normal range but could still be a little lower. I was suposed to have a DD yesterday but I decided to be a little wild and have an UD instead. Funny thing I don't feal all that guilty and it seems that an occasional slip may slow my weight loss but not totaly blow my program. So today I will realy try to get back on track with a DD. Hope everone is doing well today and rember on that UD to always clean your plate! |

DD yesterday but weight is still sticking. I don't think it's anything I've eaten. Even on my UDs I stay pretty 'clean.'
It's been a week today since I got down to a low of 184 and I watched the scale slowly climb back to 188, where I started, lol. I think it's due to ovulation though? This happened last month as well.. Also, I'm beginning to wonder if my 3lbs of veggies on a DD are going a little overboard?? ![]() Also wondering if there is a harm in having another DD today since I'm not going to the gym and not that hungry. Feeling a cold coming on. |

Why not make today a medium day? That way you can kind of go with your natural not-hungriness (I'm getting sick too, so I know how that goes) and still potentially see a scale drop tomorrow, but not go so low as to send your body into starvation mode. Like 1000-1200 calories. Then you could continue your regularly scheduled UD tomorrow. |

I'm on a DD today and yesterday should have been an up day but I had a very sick tummy yesterday and my wisdom tooth out so calories ended up at 1300. The day before was meant to be a DD but I went a little made and it ended up at 1000 cal so hopefully it'll even things out a bit. I'm bored today, work is extremely quiet and all I want to do is eat! Which is crazy since it hurts so much to eat.
Betty Time of the month for mean means I can put on anything up to 7lbs in weight which magically disappears afterwards. So I'm sure that's all it is |

I'll just go with it and see what happens today. All I want to do is sleeep
I'll go with the retaining water thing during O time. But part of me also can't help but thinking if I should save JUDDDing for when my thyroid is all better. I'm being under treated and probably taking the wrong kind of med all together. Just my theory. I have an appt NOV 16th at a big military hospital. It's been a 3 year battle. ![]() But I've lost weight before even with my 'issue,' on a more strict diet. SO I now it's possible even if it's not optimal. |

Oh, I meant to say also that for me personally, just because I'm JUDDD'ing I don't feel gives me the right to eat whatever on UDs.
And I was. To an extent. Like snacky things(wheat thins for EX) and cheesecake. I raaaarely eat that stuff. I will give JUDDD another two weeks. I will be very honest with it and stick to my eating beliefs I've been at this fat loss thing long enough to know what foods work with my body and what foods don't. The truth that I've come to realize is that I can't eat whatever/whenever I want. But that's ok!! |

5 pounds in my first week???? I weighed 113.6 this morning. I know my calories were wacky some days, and I didn't always eat enough but 5 pounds is crazy! I only averaged 975 calories which I know is too low.
I'll raise my calories this week to 600 and 1600 to see if these are my maintenance numbers or if I need to go even higher and I'll try not to have as many mid days maybe. Here were my morning weights and calories for the week: Started October 26 118.6 445 DD 115.8 1174 Mid Day 115.6 1515 UD 116.4 315 DD 115.4 970 Mid Day 115.8 2000 UD 115.8 400 DD 113.6 Up day today Today I will be enjoying my boss's Chinese chicken salad and key lime pie. I love Judd!

I understand what you are saying about the thyroid issues. Have you ever considered hhcg? It's not easy, but, it tends to work with us thyroid types, lol. I have observed many on the board that have not been able to lose any other way. You may want to pop over there and do some reading. I wouldn't suggest going on it before your medical appointment because you will want your labs to be clean. I just thought I would mention it to you. |

I briefly looked it over out of curiousity but got scared away when I read something about shots?? I couldn't afford that anyway, I don't think? I'll read it again.
The diet that worked best to shed fat was called the 'Rapid Fat loss,' diet by Lyle McDonald. It's a 'controlled crash diet,' basically. |

I used the intermountain pellets ordered from netrition on this site. I think the bottle was under $30, and it lasted me two rounds. There is no need to go the expensive RX route. Honestly, I have observed there is no difference in loss in those that use the homeopathic or go to a clinic for the shots The only difference is less money in their pockets. |

Hi everyone, lots of good losses here and although some are 'sticking' we know it will go when it is time for it to go.
I have 2 homes and so this morning I was weighing in on a different set of scales. I always count these scales as one pound higher than the ones in London, if I am right, then I am down to 127.8 another drop of .4 of a pound. Today is an Up day but so far I have only had a couple of coffees and a slice on Corned Beef (38 calories). Went to a Zumba class this morning and I never eat before a class.

on second thought, I don't think I'd feel comfortable with that diet. The only thing I 'take,' is energy drinks. I wouldn't feel right taking stuff that messes with my already messed up thyroid

Just weighed - still holding to 145, even with a higher DD (730 calories) yesterday.
