Sophie you must be "between" lol
I had 3 scales. All 3 gave different readings every stinking time. DH finally made me put one away then one I can use daily and the other I can only use once a week. The 2 I am using vary about .5lb. This morning, "daily" weighed me the same as yesterday while "mr feel good scale" weighed me 1.4lbs less. lol darned things.I guess tomorrow will tell the tale! (I don't take mr feel good seriously though, he's too danged fickle!)

Well, after my first DD, I am up .5lbs...which doesn't make a ton of sense, but I'm not worried about it. Who knows what my body is holding on to! Today is an UD, so I plan to do my best to reach my calorie limit! I have lunch out planned with a friend and will do my best to guess the calories. Its one of my favorite bistros, and the food is yummy, so I shouldnt have a problem!

Have a great day!!

Start Date: 2001 Atkins -50 2011 JUDDD - 10
Had to add salad with full fat caesar dressing to get me up to my calories, lol.

I enjoyed the day but it was pretty much the way I always eat except that my carbs are up to 29, high for me. More vegetables and the yogurt did it. I used a lot of mushroom and red pepper in the sauce and enjoyed some sugar free jello with Greek Yogurt this afternoon.

This is exactly what I want to be able to do, and hope the JUDDD will let me.

I do realize that it's a heresy to say, but I think that some of us have bodies that are just starving for some carbohydrates! And when they are allowed a bit more, for some reason the weight loss dieting seems to progress at a better rate. Go figure.

I'm starting to believe that at the end of the day(or week) it's all about the deficit. For so long I thought I was so 'carb sensitive,' that if I even looked at pasta I'd gain 5lbs.

But this WOE is proving something totally different! At least for me.

I truly believe we CAN make ourselves so carb sensitive that we do gain weight when you eat things like pasta, bread, or grains. This is exactly what started to happen to me after doing LC for 2 years, I started to gain and needed to keep eliminating carbs. NOT GOOD!!

JUDDD proved to me that I wasn't carb sensitive and my body actually does MUCH better with a higher carb amount in my daily diet!

No drop since Tuesday morning. I'm a little frustrated, but I did have a lot of sodium yesterday on my DD, so maybe it will show today.

I did measure my waist this morning cause I felt thinner, and it was 1/4 inch smaller than Saturday. That sounds like nothing, but it's huge to me, as I've only lost two inches in my waist in the last 10 months! So something's happening, even if the scale is being a weenie head!

So, I started back on the "I gotta lose my weight...again" wagon for exactly 1 month ago. The first two weeks were low carb, and the last two weeks were JUDDD.

Honestly, even though I lost weight during those first two weeks, I really wasn't doing a good job of low carbing, lol. Once I heard about JUDDD, I figured it would be great, since it didn't look like I was ever going to fully re-commit to low carb, anyway.

I'm down 8 lbs for the month! Woo Hoo!

Of course, it feels like the scale is moving so slowly that it isn't moving at all. But, I know that is just me being silly when I think that way. The scale IS moving, and 8 lbs is great! I just really want to fit into my next size down pants, and I can't yet. That is actually my real goal at the moment...to fit into those pants. I'm sick of the 2 pair that fit me right now, and I'm NOT going to buy more at this size (or any size bigger, which was going to have to happen if I didn't do something when I finally did).

well, my birthday "DD" turned U/MD didn't hurt too bad...was only up 0.6. today is typically an UD, but i am not going to do 3 UDs in a row!! so today i WILL do a D/MD...or, not quite a DD. and tomorrow back to my scheduled DD.

today, instead of IF like i normally do on a DD, i will have a very light lunch and a light supper. tomorrow, back to IF with a small supper.

Hi Betty.

Paula, a 1/4 inch off your waist is GREAT. That is better than a drop on the scale. I've never been brave enough to measure. I can't face the beginning numbers, lol. CONGRATS!

Laurie - 8 pounds in a month is FANTASTIC.

Carrie - I am sure your MD/DD's will do the trick, and you will be right where you want to be. Love and prayers for Noah tomorrow.

Debra - hoping you have a loss this morning.

Here is where I stand on my weightloss.

I have not lost in the past 3 days (UD DD UD)
I know it is most likely because my UD are way over the top.

Gotta figure out how to manage those. I am thinking that maybe I will plan them out more like I do my DD and stick too it.

Yesterday I ate pizza and my intestines are not happy today. Why did I eat that wheat?

Down .6 after a very low DD yesterday. My veggie soup I made really filled me up so I ended up only eating 337 calories. Today I have some corn chowder and spinach dip planned on my UD (that is the fun part of this WOE )

anyways that is a total of 2.4 pounds down since i started on the 17th. so seems like even though i am losing i am a very slow loser.

probably will gain back some of the losee today from ud, or maybe i will be lucky and just hold steady.

I am sitting at one pound gone in six weeks, so you are racing. Although I've screwed up along the way.

Today I feel strong and determined! Lost one pound......However, this could still be the same 1-2 pounds I've been playing with for the past month or two. Once I'm down BELOW my plateau weight, that's when I'll let myself get excited. So far, strong and determined is a pretty good way to feel. This is, after all, only my second DD ever.

Patience, my dear......

I also have a pair of pants - my goal pants - that I hope to be able to fit into better in the next week or two. I can fit into them, button and zip them, but they are still a little tight when I sit. I want to wear them more comfortably.

KUTGW!
