It's SUNDAY: What are you Eating Today?

This is a Down Day for me.

Breakfast: 3 8-oz mugs coffee with 3 oz half & half creamer (125 calories)

Lunch and Supper: I'll split my stir fry between these two meals (318 calories.. so half for lunch and half for supper later)

9 oz broccoli, florets
4 oz carrots, diagonal slices
6 oz yellow pepper, in chunks
4 oz onion, in chunks
6 oz mushroom, quartered
6 oz shirataki noodles
1/2 C General Tso's sauce, homemade.. spicy hot and sweet
a couple of shots of Pam spray in the non-stick skillet for cooking the veggies...

Total calories for this DD: 443 - Total net carbs for this DD: 52

I love General Tso's sauce on stir fry so much.....

Hi,

I've been doing Low Carb and am very interested in the JUDDD approach to losing weight.

Can I ask for your General Tso's sauce recipe? Sounds intriguing!

I feel like today's menu is all over the place and I am having a hard time hitting my UD calorie number. I still have dinner and an evening snack left to eat and it looks like I need to pad them out a bit. Also I see that I've had no salad. Very unlike me!

B: De-caf coffee with frothed skim milk and toast with almond butter and sugar free apricot jam (310)
L: 2% cottage cheese with strawberries and fresh pineapple, rice cake with hummus, flaxmeal muffin (380)
S: String cheese and pepperoni (190)
D: Chicken, quinoa and cauliflower bake (420)
S: Baked oatmeal bar (107)

That's 1407 total and I need to get to 1700.

Would you guys be interested in going up a couple of rungs on Dr. Atkins's carb ladder? I know you are remaining low carb overall in your eating at this time, but perhaps adding in a few more slightly higher carb veggies or some fruit wouldn't play havoc too badly with your carb totals.

Also, a big handful of mixed nuts can bring the calories up pretty fast.

I do want to move up the carb ladder but have been doing dairy free, zero carb, IF...all together...so I want to stick to induction levels for two weeks before I do that hoping I don't gain.

oooohhhh...nuts! I miss nuts!

Lordy... I look at my carb count for the day and feel like fainting! I'm at 86! I'll likely have some almonds, though.

86? Take a deep breath..... Just joking.

I love almonds. And walnuts too. Well, pretty much all nuts.

UD for me. Spent 2hrs at the gym this morning. 30min elliptical, 50 min shoulders, biceps, triceps and then 20 min jog.
Pre work out 2 chopped boiled with some chicken mixed in with 1T mayo and some salsa. Put this all on a latorilla lowcarb tortilla. 1 cup coffee with 1T half and half
Post workout. Protein shake with 1 scoop protein, 1T flax and 1 cup almond milk, another boiled egg
Went and had lunch with SO during his lunch break. 1 mcdouble from mcdonalds with mayo and a side salad with newmans own low fat balsamic
Munched on some mixed nuts and some pork skins while running around doing the shopping
Dinner was 5 leftover chicken wings and munched on some chicken whiledeboning my chicken for the week and 1 of my tuna muffins I mad. I had to try them!

About 1700 cals, 130 grams protein, 100 grams fat and 30 carbs
Still feeling good after my refeed. Scale was down .2 this morning but I know it will be back up in the morning. It always is on Monday morning. I run around constantly and don't drink enuf water so I'm always bloated Monday morning. I'm looking forward to my DD tomorrow.
