No Longer Overweight

Well, sort of. According to ******, I am now in the healthy weight range (i.e., my BMI is below 25). Of course, I'm 40 pounds from what I consider my ideal weight and 30 pounds from my goal weight, so I think BMI is a seriously flawed measure, but hey, any excuse to celebrate, right?

My BMI is 24 and I consider that a great place to be! I don't see that as a "flaw" measure of how great we are taking care of ourselves, and I think you SHOULD celebrate you 25 BMI!! Not easy to get there, as we all know! Congrats!!!

Thanks Linda! For lots of people, a 24 BMI is great. I say it's a flawed measure because it doesn't take body composition into account. For ME, a non-muscular, tiny boned person, a BMI at the top end of the range is anything but healthy. But you're right, it is an accomplishment - I just have a lot more to accomplish.
