Jumping in!
Hi all,
I've been doing LC and IF for a few months, and I can't seem to get under 200lbs, so I'm changing it up a bit. I still plan to eat LC and do IF, but I want to add JUDDD. I would consider the way I ate today to be an UD, so I'll start tomorrow with a DD. At 6pm this evening, I stopped eating, so tomorrow, I'll make sure to eat my 500cal after 6pm (I do 24hr fasts). I think I'll do MWF as DDs, and the rest are UDs. I just think that would work best with my schedule. Hope this helps break me through into the 100s!

Lol! No not yet! Must admit, I haven't ventured THAT far down the carb road yet! I have had a lovely ripe peach, which felt decadent... funny, when I used to scoff them daily! Also been enjoying strawberries and apple slices!
I WILL have that scone... But it will have to be special, not a mass produced "blah" one from asda! I have been trying to find a lOwer carb version on here, kevinpa has one... but I have no way of getting all the ingredients! In the mean time, I have been enjoying ouizoids muffin recipe. I did find the spiced apple cider online, Beeb... Just deciding wether it's worth £5.99! Hugs Jo X

I have a scone recipe but it uses Carbquik. I'm thinking that you could probably use one or two of the nuts flours (almond, coconut, etc) to replace the Carbquik, and it might not be too bad. It's not a nice, fluffy scone but it does taste good! Let me know if you would like the recipe! ![]() |

Yes please Beeb!....it would be a good way off dipping my toe into the "scone" waters...that is, if a UK scone and a US one are actually the same thing...lol!
I have almond flour, coconut flour, peanut flour and oat fibre! I may try a blend of those...and recommendations by experienced bakers welcome! Oh, and I found a zero calorie apple drink mix on a UK online carb shop...it is unspiced, but at £2.50, i could add my own. Just been looking at some Walden farms stuff too....no chance of getting them in the shops....like my shirataki noodles...its online or nothing! hugs Jo x Last edited by Joedi; 09-14-2011 at 11:48 AM.. |

WALDEN FARMS!! NOT MY FAV!
I do use the Marshmallow for Penguin and Ouiz muffin but that is about all the Walden Farms stuff I will use. I just don't like the taste of most of their things. I will send a private message for you with the scone recipe! ![]() Last edited by Beeb; 09-14-2011 at 01:10 PM.. |
