Now, it's June!!

Wow, you guys I am up 8 lbs after partying hard this weekend for my birthday. I do NOT usually eat gluten at all and I had pizza. Now, I remember why I don't eat it. I am sooooo bloated, retaining water, and have black circles under my eyes. I am use to having a big bounce after a free for all but wow!

Sooo, today is a much needed DD and I am going to start working out again after taking a little exercise vacation. I am already peeing like crazy so I know some of the water is coming off. I don't like feeling like this, BUT I sure had a great birthday.

Happy JUDDDING!!!

Hi everyone! I'm back after a crazy couple of weeks. A much needed DD for me today. I hope I haven't done too much damage. Hopefully after a good week I'll be in VFT

Happy June!

It's been a bit of a rough start for me already. My baby started getting sick yesterday and we had a bad night. I was up pretty much all night with him. No fever today, but he doesn't act like himself . I also had to go up to the hospital to get a CT scan of a spot on my leg (a weird lump). She wanted to start an IV with dye and I asked if it would have any problem with breastfeeding. And she said, "oh, you can just pump and dump for 24 hours." To which I responded, "well my son is EXCLUSIVELY breastfed." She just couldn't seem to comprehend that because she didn't understand why I couldn't pump and dump. I had to explain to her that he wouldn't eat any food yet and he wouldn't take a bottle. We got some pics without the dye, she said if they didn't turn out she'd have me come back in a week because then " you can wean your baby in a week so we can get better pics." Yeah... a week to wean him... funny.

I'm really hungry this morning. Probably way too many carbs this weekend did that! I think I'll go have a cup of peppermint tea

Hope everyone has a great day!

Leo- Thanks for the directions on the soup Sounds easy enough!

Hello.
I’ve been reading your thread quite a long time now.
May I join?

Recently my scale has been moving wrong direction. So I need to do something immediately. I’ve been on 1200 calorie diet, so today I’d started with an Up Day. Crazy. Just need to prepare for that calorie cut, I’ll be having tomorrow and hopefully every other day for some time.

I’ve read that you suggest having shakes on DD. Well. I’m not the fan of those. Thinking about having just plain yoghurt with some berries… or salads… Any advise? Please …

I eat plain greek yogurt and berries on my down days. I definitely prefer food over shakes.

Hi everybody! Feeling good to start the month with a DD.
I never got a chance to say Happy B-day Michelle, so happy belated !! Glad you were able to celebrate and enjoy some special meals.

Trish- I hope all is well with your leg-- good luck with the tests.

Good to have you back Stargirl.

Welcome Greta!! I have never done shakes. Just do a "fast five" (only eat in a 5 hr window-- check out the IF threads for more info) and eat one nice 400ish calorie meal for dinner. I am just in the process of going thru my food diaries and compiling a list of all my dd dinners. I LOVE to cook and create recipes, so this has been a really fun challenge for me. After years of lowcarbing and not worrying too much about fat, I am having to use a different mind set for these menus. I do NOT like using fake, low fat foods, but am using a few just to make these menus better. I now have a big jar of Hellmans lite mayo in my fridge and some lite sour cream too. I still try and stick to pretty low carb, and so do a few others who follow this woe thread.
I will also mention that it is appearing that those who stick to a true alternation of up and down days have more success than having 3 set down days, 3 up and 1 moderate.
I may be wrong and would like to hear if someone disagrees, but it just seems like that is the consensus lately. I will post further thoughts on this on the JUDDD tweaker thread which is a lot of the same folks.

Good luck to all of us.
Should we do a challenge perhaps?????

Should we start a new thread so I can put the JUDD info in the top for newcomers?

Maybe a good idea Kisha. I didn't realize that this thread was actually an oops.
I also just posted on the tweaker thread that I don't know how to start new threads like this, that need info at the top. (techno-challenged)
