THANKS!

Ya, to make it "creamy" you have to mix the almond breeze straight up with instant coffee, if you try to ADD it to brewed coffee than ya, it's like skim milk in coffee

I'm aiming for 30% right for my DD's, so that falls within my limits. I knew doing lc with JUDDD would make it a little tougher to keep the calorites down, but once I get a pretty set menu I can tweak it down closer to the recommended 500 or less. This will be the first day in a looong time the ol' bod has had that few calories, so we'll see what happens!

Now to go back and catch up on posts!
Sounds like you're right on track! Congrats on your first DD. As you know they DO GET EASIER!!! Come join us on the new Thread for April!

I've learned from these DDs that my hunger is so often purely mental. For example, last night at about 8 pm, I decided that I was hungry, but I'd finished my 400 cals, so I told myself that eating would have to wait for the morning. And I had no trouble for the rest of the evening--once the thought of eating was out of my mind, my "hunger" vanished.
I have had a few more tummy rumblings today and it is a little odd knowing I can't reach for anything lc (re: the mantra of lc - hungry? eat!). But, having done JUDDD before, I know I can handle it. And I like that the things I'm eating now will keep me more satisfied than when I was eating the low cal/low fat stuff before because, like you, my appetite is huge with carbs.

Yep, it was instant I used, I just think I'd have to have 1/2 c. of almond breeze to make it creamy enough for me!

That's exactly what I mean... a whole cup of almond breeze, a scoop of instant coffee.... heated up together. No water at all = 40 calories.

Thanks for the rest of your advice/information as well.
calculate 100 calories per mile, regardless of speed or time.
