? 4 PCOS Ladies & Anyone use OvuSoft?
TOM finally came back yesterday after a 6 month hiatus, but I have also been a ton more active lately and it always seems to come when I have been active, anyone else have this happen? We'll just have to wait & see if it comes back like normal though.
Also I downloaded the 15 day trial of OvuSoft fertility software, right now we are taking a break from ttc, but I am going to you FAM for BC, Anyone else use it? Do you like it? I might buy it. |

Exercise is WONDERFUL for improving insulin resistance issues. So glad TOM found its way back to give you a starting point.
What I recommend for charting is www.tcoyf.com, Toni Weschler's book and software Taking Charge of Your Fertility. It talks about PCOS in modern terms and has great photos of what cervical mucus changes you should be looking for. I have no experience with OvuSoft, though, if that is a separate product. I just photocopied Toni's charts from her book and did it the old fashioned way. LOL With lowcarb and exercise I could finally cycle every 28 days with no ovulation. I went on Metformin and Avandia together and got pregnant 6 weeks later. Since giving birth, I now cycle regularly without meds or even without lowcarb and exercise. But, I still don't ovulate. Congrats on your fabulous weight loss! You are doing the right thing for sure. Good luck and keep us posted!!!!

Yes, however I was real concerned because I have been low carbing & exercising for over 6 mos and still only had 1 period, this is only my 2nd one since starting LC back in January.
Ovusoft is the fertility software from the TCOYF website. |

I use www.fertilityfriend.com There is a free version and a VIP version. I liked this better because it was online, and I am on three computers a day...I could update from any computer. OvuSoft is a software loaded on one machine, from what I understand.

Fertility friend is a wonderful program i think. I have been using it for a little over a year. Granted i am on a ttc break since i have been LCIng in attempt to get down to @ least 200 before i try again. But i still use it to watch my cycle. Which is outta wack since starting this lc lifestyle. Not like with pcos i am not used to that but its on cd 66 EEEK! But i am taking provera finally.
