WOE: JUDDD all the way!
Start Date: JUDDD restart: April 9, 2013
Got my first shot today!

Hi, everyone -- I'm Deen -- I'm usually over on the JUDDD board but wanted to drop in and say hi, as I've decided to speed things up with a round of HCG! I'm doing the rx shots and got my first injection today. I have to say, I feel GREAT! I am still loading (although my doc is more of the 'just eat normally -- why gain more weight that you'll just have to lose?' camp -- but I am really psyched to try this WOE. She is all about the rogue stuff too -- first of all, she gave me a choice between doing 125 or 200 iu -- it was about $10 more per month to do the 200, but she said she finds her patients have less hunger, so I went for that. If anyone has thoughts on that, please share, as I wasn't sure if I made the right decision. Her thoughts seemed to be, the more hcg, the less hunger. She said she's totally fine with things like fat free greek yogurt and turkey sausage (under 10 grams of fat per serving) and suggest I do at least a 60 day round. What do you all think of this? Seems quite a bit different than the Simeon protocol stuff.

My bloodwork showed a vitamin D deficiency, so I've started taking that too, incidentally.

So, again -- hi -- and please feel free to share any tips -- they're welcome and appreciated!

Hi, Deen. I think there are many ways to be successful with the hcg diet. After two years of hanging around on this board, I've seen people succeed with orthodox following of Simeon's plan, with all kinds of rogue plans, with homeopathic drops or pellets, with Rx shots, and everything in between. I think the important thing is to decide what your eating plan is going to be and then stay with it all the way through. Your doctor sounds great. I predict you'll be very successful!

Hi Deen and WELCOME!

Check out the Dr. Emma thread to see what people are doing in relation to increasing dosage and changing up what they are eating. According to the folks on there, you may or may not find that 200 works better for you. Check it out though and add your experiences. I think it's always good to gather as much data as possible! Also, check out the current P2 thread if you haven't already. Lots of people starting or in P2 right now.

And GOOD LUCK!!!

Dr Emma's plan

Thanks, ladies -- I'm excited to start -- although was a tad hungry today, on my first P2 day -- I hope that improves. Posted to the P2 thread.
