my BEST round to date!!!

i have only really had one successful round...my first. i was able to stay on for 38 days...15lbs.

many attempts since then. i did get to my alltime low at one point in the fall/winter of 2011, not all with hcg tho. then lossened up and ended up back where i started that very first round if not even up a few from that.

anyway, i finally found my mojo to get serious.

thanks for NicoleT and her testimonial of the brand of hcg she uses...HCG1234, this is the best round to date. i haven't weighed yet, but definitely have inches loss.

i may weigh monday as that will be one week. i am walking twice a day so that's why i'm hesitant to weigh too much as i know there could be water retention from that.

anyway....why is it the best round? ZERO hunger!! along with the drops, i am taking raspberry keytones and an adrenal support supp called Relacore Extra. something else i think that is contributing to such incredible hunger control is my daily use of psyllium husk powder in a smoothie (140g frozen strawberries, 2 cups sf almond milk, a little protein powder, psyllium husk powder) i also take some psyllium capsules at lunch.

i feel so amazing...even better than my first round. now i know i am only a week in, but from past experience, i could barely get past 3 days.

sooo anyway, i think the combo of the brand of drops, the RK, the Relacore, and the psyllium are making this round so much more enjoyable!

just wanted to share.

edited to add: i keep cals 600-800 and very rogue....anything fat free.

And thank you for sharing dazygirl. I am glad you found something that is working I am happy for you I know that struggle!! And I know that Nicole has had it too. Hugs all around Hoping the best for your weigh in. And I am grateful to Nicole for all her sharing as well. I would not have found the reduced fat half and half if not for her, or tried the fat free cheese slices. Love that woman it is the little things on this plan that make all the difference. Still have yet to try the fat free hot dogs, but know that one day I will.

YAY DAZY!!! I told you those drops are great. I, too, had almost NO hunger--even from day 1 (and I barely loaded!). I've moved onto 5:2 (except I'm doing 4:3) for P3 and it's going well. Down days are pretty easy coming from doing P2 for so long--especially when I know the next day can be normal eating

Here's to your continued success

Pysllium Husk

Looking to find some of this that is not the orange-flavored Metamucil kind....I have to make a Whole Foods run I guess!

I am doing green juices + RAW veggie protein in them for lunch when I am home...would love to add in also some Pysllium Husk.

Also slipping in splashes of Unsweetened Almond Coconut milk into my hot tea...at 45 calories per 8oz this adds like 3 calories to my tea....totally makes the diet bearable is is a "treat"

What kind of psyllium husk capsules do you take and where did you get them?

melanie...NOW brand has a nice bulk psyllium husk powder. also, i found almond breeze brand of sf almond milk in a 32oz jug that is 30cal/cup!

nicole, i acutally found the store brand of psyllium caps at shopko. it says 100% natural psyllium on them. but am sure they could be found on netrition? i got my powder from netrition.

also, i have noticed that adding a T of powder to my smoothie is much more effective at keeping me feeling full way better than the caps, for some reason, altho i do still take them propr to eating lunch....so YMMV. some people do the same with konjoc/gluc powder/caps, but i find that type of fiber harder on my gut than the psyllium. which is too bad as i have a huge bag of gluc powder.

Congratulations!!! That's great news.

Would you mind posting the ingredients on the label? I can't find a list of ingredients on the website, and that always makes me suspicious.

I have some psyllium husks powder from Whole Foods. It is by "Yerba Prima". I bought it to make these:

Ouizoid's tortillas..easy, easy..

Was going to make them on P2, but never got around to it. Now that I am eating nothing but taters for days on end I STILL cannot make them. But one day I will try.

Ingredients for the pysllium? Or something else? My Yerba Prima psyllium husks powder is exactly that---psyllium husk powder. All is fiber and is broken down like this: 15 calories; 4.5 g of carbs with 4.5 being dietary fiber, 3.5 g soluble and 1 g being insoluble.

here's a picture of the label

here's an explanation from their Facebook page.

hCG in not in the FDA's Homeopathic Pharmacopeia. So hCG can't be considered 'homeopathic'. The FDA has also determined that the production of the hCG hormone is only approved for fertility treatments when prescribed by a doctor.

Our hCG1234 contains no hormones. Instead, of the 250 amino acids that make-up hCG, we use the ones that are clinically proven to support weight loss and removal. It is designed to work with your body the same way as the hormone does. In fact, our customers report better results than previous formulas that did contain the hormone and many can be seen here in the 'before and after' photos and testimonials. Our product is also the first that allows for 500, 800 or 1200 calorie options depending on your specific lifestyle.

Also, since we have stopped using the hormone, our customers report even better results, fewer instances of stalls or plateaus and particularly for women, far fewer side-effects. Results are ultimately what matters with diet products and results and high quality, clinically proven ingredients (can't be said for the hCG hormone), are the reason hCG1234 remains the top selling diet product available!
----
I know there's no actual hcg, but I kid you not, I feel better than when I took IM pellets.

HCG1234....

I have not personally used, but a bud of mine on another board is burning up the scales with these drops! She has lost ~50 in two rounds.

Thanks for posting the ingredients! I don't know why they aren't available on the website.

That is fantastic news that you aren't hungry! I'm so glad you are having a great round. Lack of hunger is the key to this diet. I really appreciate your posting this. I love hearing about good products that work well and I'm going to keep this one in mind for the future.

I am always in the market for a good product recommendation, thank you! I looked up the hcg1234 online, and was thrilled to find that a couple of retailers near me carry it -- no shipping or waiting! I was really confused when I found it on the store shelf, though -- it was nearly half the price offered online, and the store was having a further sale on it through 5/30 so I snagged a 2 oz bottle for $19. I was convinced it must be a different product in their line, but no, it's what I was looking for! First dose goes in tonight, if I'm feeling better in the morning I'll know I've got the right stuff.

@diva, so are you going to take that as a supplement to your patch hcg? I don't see even any homeopathic hcg in that label. I'm confused as to why it's considered hcg - or maybe people are transitioning to the newer "amino" diet I've heard about with higher calories? I don't doubt it would help, as I am currently taking some aminos myself in powder form for various things.

Additionally, I am wondering whether this would be something that would help with just a regular low-calorie diet and not be subject to the "phases" and time limits and cause any kind of immunity. Specifically, am wondering if I could use that for appetite control while JUDDDing in maintenance - or would higher calories on an upday cause a gain such as hcg does?

i totally think it could be used as an adjunct to juddd marie. i took it for 4 full days before i started low cal. i was with a friend those days and well, we always seem to ENJOY our time together with good food. while eating more often and outside the bounds of hunger, i found i could not eat the volumes i *know* i can.

not sure why the tag the 'hcg' monicker on it as there is no hcg in it as per the explanation i quoted from their FB page. but it DOES something, that's for sure!!

so i weighed for the first time. and clearly, either i have gained muscle or something as my mirror and clothes do NOT match the scale AT ALL. i feel so much better and less fluffy with definite inch loss and the stupid devil's platform says i am down a WHOLE POUND since i weighed when i started taking the drops. i don't get it, but i'm not going to freak out, b/c i know the mirror and my clothes tell a much bigger tale than the scale. but i was definitely

anyway...sticking to it.

I feel your pain Dazy--after my first week of 4:3 (JUDDD), I stayed the same! How in the world could I create a deficit upwards of 4500 calories and NOT lose weight?? But I do feel good and my clothes are fitting better so I guess we're in the same boat

No, I ripped off my patch and switched straight over, so I wouldn't be confused about which was having effect. There's no actual HCG in the patch either, so I figure I'm on level ground there. I'll see if things improve, if not I can always slap on another patch.

Honestly, I don't know yet. I'm a slow starter this morning, just now getting around to coffee!

I'll know toward lunchtime if anything's different, as the past few days I'd been eating it earlier and earlier, with actual stomach growling starting fairly early in the morning.

not sure why the tag the 'hcg' monicker on it as there is no hcg in it as per the explanation i quoted from their FB page. but it DOES something, that's for sure!!

so i weighed for the first time. and clearly, either i have gained muscle or something as my mirror and clothes do NOT match the scale AT ALL. i feel so much better and less fluffy with definite inch loss and the stupid devil's platform says i am down a WHOLE POUND since i weighed when i started taking the drops. i don't get it, but i'm not going to freak out, b/c i know the mirror and my clothes tell a much bigger tale than the scale. but i was definitely

anyway...sticking to it.
I think you have just created a new catch phrase that I am totally going to use!

Geez, this dieting thing sometimes makes no sense whatsoever! It often amazed me during other rounds to think I was eating only 500 calories and not losing! I would imagine the 4:3 JUDDD may have a long term effect--perhaps you wouldn't see weight loss so quickly. I found JUDDD very difficult because the weight came off very slowly. Hope you see better success this week!

Made it past noon, no discomfort. I'm calling this a win for today.

If the next couple of days are comfy and show good losses as well, I'ma SPRINT back to that store to clean out what they've got while it's on sale!

Holy cow! You are so lucky to have found that. It is at a local store, or one that would be here on the East coast? I cannot find hcg to save my life. The only thing around here is that hcg activator stuff. Maybe I should try that one??? Hmmmm....

Proves that there IS something to that calories in/calories out after all Are you coming off of hcg? If so, you are just catching up. Remember that on P3 you are not supposed to be losing, maybe your body is just regulating itself before it starts to release again. Hang in there.

Hmmmm I wonder if they sell it anywhere near me. If it has no hcg in it, only aminos, and helps with appetite and losing while JUDDDing, I'm in.
