May 2013 - P2 - Use this one!
Hi my P2 Peeps!
![]() Hope nobody minds, but I wanted to go back to a monthly thread as the weekly ones were getting confusing? ![]() I gave my HCG injections a "pregnancy" test as i suspected they were losing potency - and I believe my suspicions were correct! The test line barely showed up and was a good bit lighter than the control....I am going into my weight loss clinic on Monday to discuss. We did this test (me and hubs) with our 1st round and his 2nd round injections. the line was MUCH darker and mixing strength was the same....1000cc (think i am saying that right?). Thoughts from the Rx group?? I am really guessing at this, but I just think our older batches were more potent...I can "feel" the difference. I sort of suspected b/c once i switched over to the new "batch" I have been more tired and more hungry? ![]() Anyway...nothing i can do about that now.... Here are my round stats as of R2P2D27: Week 1 Losses 9.4 Week 2 Losses 1.3 Week 3 Losses 3.6 Current Week 2.7

Good Morning....One
I understand the exercise on p2 could slow down losses. I only walk 10 miles 2days a week now and don't weigh the day after I walk. This is much less then what I used to do. I'm training to do the 60 mile Breast Cancer walk so not walking is not an option. Next week I'm participating in the color me rad run....should be fun but I have never ran a day in my life. I too have major hair loss on hhcg. I do take Biotin daily and it does help some. GREAT job on the btb correction days. I will weigh in tomorrow am ....not letting the scale control me. Emotional eating ok so far this weekend. Missing my Mom but she would not be happy with me if I turned to food for comfort so I am planting flowers today instead. Tea so far today Have a great Sunday Bee |

So happy to report that today is hCG #7/VLCD #5 and I am down 6 pounds! So happy! Of course this is really only 3 pounds since I gained 3 loading, but still, I have finally (again) broken past the 140 mark and am 138.8 today.
Such a relief to be losing weight again, and I seem to be tolerating this round okay. I am actually doing this round completely rogue, since I have realized after many rounds and reading the research (check out Dr. Belluscio's website--this is an informational website and NOT a website that sells anything) that it is not the hCG that causes the weight loss, but the very low calorie diet. People put on very low cal diets lost an equal amount of weight but they were starving and uncomfortable, whereas the hCG make the diet bearable. Thank you, Dr. Simeons for the hCG!!!! I have decided this round to do mostly protein shakes with added greens (green smoothies), eat veggies raw or cooked, avoid all starches/sugar/dairy and most fruit except for berries. Basically a low carb paleo except I'm also avoiding fats! I just can't look at another piece of 3.5 oz of grilled chicken ever again! Or that sugar free ketchup (stevia gives me a headache) or "sugar free" bbq sauce, etc. If dinner has been made I'll eat a small portion of meat and veggies and calculate the calories to 500 per day. So grateful I'm not experiencing the horrible fatigue/nearly passing out I experienced on the last few rounds I tried. I think eating breakfast everyday (green protein shake) has resolved that issue. I can't believe how much this diet has evolved for me over the many courses--I'm so glad to have found an eating plan that works for me, and I'm not hungry this round for which I am so very grateful. Hope everyone has a great week and that we are all a bunch of losers!

First day of VLCD went well. Minimal hunger but didn't feel bad. Woke up at 9:30 this am and wasn't at all hungry. Was down 1.2 from yesterday. Yay!

So i got this recipe from Facebook and tried it tonight. It was really good!!
HCG Sweet & Sour Chicken Recipe 100 Grams chicken breast 1/2 Orange w/ rind 1/2 lemon w/ rind 1 cup water 1 tablespoon Bragg’s liquid amino’s 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar 1 tablespoon minced onion 1 tablespoon lemon and/or orange zest Dash of garlic powder Dash of onion powder 1 tablespoon hot sauce Cayenne pepper to taste Salt and pepper to taste Stevia to taste In a frying pan or small saucepan place 1/2 orange and 1/2 lemon with the rind in water and boil until pulp comes out of the rind. Remove rinds from the water and scrape out the remaining pulp and juice with a spoon. Add spices, onion and stevia to taste. Add chicken and cook until liquid is reduced by approximately half and desired consistency is achieved. Add onion and garlic powders which act as slight thickening agent. Serve hot and garnish with lemon or orange. Makes 1 serving of Protein and 1 serving of fruit. Phase 3 can add pineapple and bell peppers. [edit] This was awesome. Naturally I modified it a little to suit our tastes.. I made 4 X the recipe, but did not increase the Braggs or hot sauce and only used 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar.. Next time I would brown the chicken first, but it's a Keeper! __________________ |

![]() As for me? I posted another STS - last two weeks the only way I have lost weight was from my correction days (3 days of these!). ![]() I don't want to keep doing this as I felt horrible after doing two BTB correction days of almost entirely protein...I think my bod needs the veggies.... I am going to talk to my Weight loss clinic as I tested my HCG and it has lost potency per those tests.... Hopefully back on track with the numbers this week! |

Hi Everyone!
I'm loading today and tomorrow - I feel like KaKa already..lol. It's so difficult to stuff my face when I'm used to avoiding all these things! My stomach feels like a rumble in the bronx...but keep reminding myself this is a very important step to avoid wanting to chew my arm off in a few days. Looking forward to VLCD on Wednesday - ready to shed! |

Good morning!
Glad to know I am not the only new person here! Starting my first VLCD today and I am a bit nervous that I will be able to make it through. Makes me feel better that there are others in the same boat. And I am going to be brave and post my stats.
Thanks to everyone for being inspirations! Kate Load Day #1: 155 VLCD #1: 157.2 |

New to this board-R1P2 VLCD 2 @ 140lbs
Joining to get encouragement and motivation from this group. I started my loading days on Saturday May 11th @ 139 lbs. I am using hHCG pellets. Hopefully, I make it through this first day at 500 calories. So far so good. I had iced coffee with stevia and cinnamon made at home.

Oh look, it's Monday.
![]() One, thanks for the monthly thread -- the date numbers just don't work well in my head, but I can just about figure out which month it is! ![]() I'm back for another round, this time completely on the patch (last time I switched over midway). Loading was completely miserable, I am going to be SO relieved to do a few VLCDs. What scares me is that I woke up hungry this morning, it only took two days for me to completely lose the good conditioning of the last nine weeks!! I gained to back over 200 with loading, too. I'm sitting at 202, and really really want to see that load weight go away as fast as it came. I keep reminding myself that I'm wearing pants that were too damn tight just a couple of weeks ago, the number doesn't matter.I'll be putting in a couple of good P2 weeks before we travel next, then taking a PI for the trip days. BBQ contests are just too much physical stress (loading/unloading, heat, lack of sleep) to try to sail through on VLCDs -- I found in past rounds that I gain anyway from the extreme exertion, so might as well be comfortable. I may well be making some unorthodox eating choices, just to avoid burnout with two rounds so close together, but as always results will dictate if a return to strict protocol is warranted. Have a great P2 day, everyone!

Hello everyone. This is my last day of injections, P3 is on the horizon. I lost 15.2lbs on this round (23 day round). I might drop something over the next couple VLCD but I'm not counting on it. I have been pretty stuck for the past week. Since I gained 4lbs during loading, the true loss this round is 11.2. I'll take it. My total losses since mid-January add up to 30lbs.
I'm taking a break from hcg over the summer. I will likely start my next round in September. |

Good Morning Everyone,
Not sure what my weight looks like this morning, I stayed over at my bfs house all weekend, so I will check it tomorrow morning, I would like to think I am down a couple more pds, but who knows. I def have noticed a change in my body and so has everyone else, they were all commenting on it this weekend. That always feels nice when people notice! The rain is back here this week, I am hoping to make it to the gym a couple times this week. Saturday I went on a walk with the kids and it was super hot outside and we were walking up hill, I got a huge dizzy spell and felt like I was going to pass out, that was kinda scary. I think it may have been heat exhaustion, but everyone of course was saying its cause I dont eat anything lol. Who knows, but I feel much better today. 18 days left in this round! Lets make this week a great one. Kelly |

I think there's something wrong with my computer.
Today I am 137.6, the lowest I have been in months! And I didn't drink enough yesterday so I thought that would affect it but thankfully it did not. Who knows, I may not lose any tomorrow. But for now, I'm so happy and I love hcg! |

Down to 168.4 today - VLCD 15 - so that's 10.8 pounds for the first 2 weeks. Happy about that, and motivated to keep going. I have been buying some new clothes at the thrift store, and now I am comfortably fitting in 14s and some 12s where at the beginning of my first round, 16s were tight on me!
So that is good, and I am really hoping that the next 10 pounds will make a big difference in my waist and hips! I am thinking that the last 20 pounds or so should make a real difference with my measurements - has that been anyone else's experience? |

Ok SO I had really great intentions for this weekend but was out of town for a wedding and I ate off plan both dinners (way way off plan).
I calculate that this set me back 6lbs. (2 I gained, the 2 lbs I would have those in those 2 days and the 2 lbs I would have lost in these next 2 days if I didn't have to relose the gained weight). Not a good choice! I've also extended my p2 since I now have to do 21 days from yesterday to do the leptin reset properly. But - what's done is done. Back on plan today (with more hunger): b: melba toast, black coffee s: apple and one ff turkey link l: 1/2 cucumber, one ff turkey link s: strawberries d: 3 oz chicken breast, salad. I am going to go to the gym today too.

ya, so, my Monday to Monday losses this week were AWFUL. 1.6 total. UGH. I have one more week to go until my minimum round, and then I'm doing a planned interruption P3-style because I'm going out of town to care for a family member after a surgery. I will say though, that even though I'm not losing too many pounds this last week that I can tell differences in my body. I "feel" skinnier, if that makes any sense. The week prior, my first week, I lost 9.8 pounds including load weight. I hope I lose at least 2 -3 pounds this week. If I do, I'll be solidly in a new decade, as I'm .5 away now.

Well... I only lost 0.6 lbs this week (Week 2 is never very good for me, but this is a new low in terms of weight lost). However, today is day 1 of week 3, so hopefully will be MUCH better.. hehe I am only doing a 4 week round this time cos I'm going away in July and want to be on P4 by then. Cross your fingers for me, please

I'm down 13 lbs total since Load Weight and had a .4 gain today. Ugh. I haven't been working out, which is killing me, but for 1.5 weeks since loading, I will take 13 lbs.

Ugh..maybe it is only in my mind
I do not feel hungry but I keep obsessing over food. Typically, I do not eat a lot thru out the day so this should be easy for me. However, I think because I keep reading the food list...I want stuff that is not on the food list.
I hope it gets easier as the week goes on. |
