HCG Newbie Starting 800 cal protocol --Getting organized!

Hi everyone, after doing a lot of research I am ready to start my HCG 800 cal protocol diet next week when my drops arrive. It is going to take more discipline and planning than I've never summoned before, but I'm ready to do it! This forum is great, and I'm hoping you all can give me some tips on how to get organized with all the veggies/proteins, food on the go, eating at restaurants with the family, etc. My family eats out as entertainment (which is why I need this diet in the first place!), so this is going to have major effects on my family as well. We will all be eating healthier because of it, but it is daunting to think of going on our 3 week road trip this summer while in phase 3.

If there is a prior thread on this, please feel free to just refer me there.

I'm planning to cut up and store 1 cup portions of approved veggies and salad in baggies at the beginning of the week for easy "grab and go" or dinner prep. Any ideas on how to deal with the proteins ahead of time? Crock pot? Divide up 4oz raw portions, or cooked? Some of both? Tips for traveling while on the plan? I'm open to suggestions! Anything to make this process easier will be helpful. Thank you from Delaware, USA!

I precook my portions of meat (a couple of days worth or more). I find that easier that trying to cook tiny portions for each meal.

I like to cook big batches of meals ahead of time - chilis and soups especially -- and freeze the appropriate sized portions in gladware. This way I'm rarely caught starving with "nothing to eat"!

I also keep frozen veggies and fruits on hand, too, in case I run out of fresh.
