Gains in P2

Hi I'm R4P2VLCD 21. I've lot 15 lbs so far. I've been strictly sticking to protocol and yesterday was no exception. I didn't have my second fruit with dinner because I just wasn't hungry. I drank all my water too.. I usually drink 100+ oz. but I was up a pound this morning. So I'm doing an apple day but I didn't know what else to do.. It's also day 4 of my TOM and though I'd gained a pound right before TOM started. I lost it right back after it started... any suggestions? Why did I gain? Thanks for any help!!

Gains happen sometimes. Your fat cells fill with water right before they die off and get flushed out. Hang in there--you'll see it off in a day or two. You shouldn't be doing an apple day unless you have been the same weight for 4-5 days. Good luck!

Hey thanks! I guess I kind of freaked out when I saw a gain. That's never happened to me in a round before. I've had plenty of stalls but never a gain but I'll definitely keep that in mind! Thanks!

When I had a gain, it was usually from TOM, or I had a lot of salt, or I didn't drink enough water. LOTS of water is important to help flush things through.

WOE: one day at a time!! LC!

The apple day is not a real weight loss tool. It's psychological more for water release and usually has a rebound gain (which is what you just experienced). It's really only suggested after a 5 day stall.
Just stick w. clean protocol and you'll be down again soon. This happens, and is totally normal! Hang in there. You're closer to "goal" and your losses will be slower as you have less and less to lose. That's why I usually choose a short round and just move on when I'm stuck. My body isn't super cooperative in letting fat go.

Hope you're losing again soon!
