Help! HCG Rx Tablets

I picked up HCG Rx tablets from a doctor at a weight loss clinic and started taking them this morning. They are suppose to dissolve under the tongue, not supposed to swallow but after they melt under the tongue you can swallow them right? I kept it under the tongue for 20 minutes and it just melted, didn't totally dissolve. I would really appreciate the help. Sorry if it seems like a stupid question. I just need to make sure I am doing this right. I am only use to the drops and his office is closed on Saturday.

i would think after 20 min it should be fine, did they come with any instructions?

They didn't come with good instructions unfortunately. They are real fast to get you in and out of the office too.

I'm having the same issue and started another thread before I saw this one. I have the prescription melt under your tongue tablets 250 iu. I'm worried I'm doing it wrong. They melt in less than a minute but I'm not sure it's going in my bloodstream and then the saliva starts to gather (gross). I'm so afraid of swallowing because of the stomach acids and the $$ I spend on these little tabs. So far I'm losing weight but I am not sure it's because of the HCG. 20 minutes seems like an extremly long time mine doesn't go past 3...Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

most of the hcg should be absorbed under you tongue within a few minutes. As for the saliva thats gathering after those few minutes it should be fine to swallow. From what i've read about sublingual products this *should* be true at least!

Thanks Sillyme. I feel better now. This is sort of mysterious to me. Blondie I also started on the SL Tablets on March 2nd. I have considerably more to lose than you but wishing you all the best on this!

I recently started on the sublingual Rx pills. My doctor said that there will be a little bit of residue left over after the pill has dissolved. The pill seems to dissolve quickly, in less than a minute. You then wait one minute before swallowing the residue, and then do not drink or eat for 20 minutes to ensure complete absorption.
