Way too much time on my hands!
|
Hooray! I'm so excited that February has passed. T'was a good month, but March feels like spring.
It's horribly rainy out, as it usually is in the late winter and early spring around here. I'm enjoying my creamy coffee and anticipating a relaxed day at work. I seem pretty stable, I'm up about 1.2lbs from LIW. I've been holding that for 3 days. I've had no problem adapting to P3 eating. I've been working to get my fat in via coconut oil and avocado. I'm not prepared with lunch today. I think I'll get a souvlaki chicken skewer and salad from a greek spot for lunch. What does everyone have planned for the day? Weekend plans? |

Happy March to all of you maintainers!! The weather is really beautiful here in sunny California. I know it's still winter but its been so warm. I went out bike riding for 10 miles on the beautiful creekside trails. It's so nice after the long cold winter this year. Rain is supposed to come again next week so I have to take advantage while I can.

March !! Last day of P4 tomorrow I am no longer in a phase just life ! Had a very successful CD & dropped 3.6 lbs
So had berries with my eggs for breakfast & some guacamole. Lunch I had chicken legs with broccoli with a little cheese & dinner will be steak with a nice tomato/romaine salad and full fat dressing. So far planning on a short round the 2nd week of April. It's not 100 % but I do want to see if I can reach that elusive goal of 120 and lose that little roll around the middle. Right now it seems I've stabilized at my ldw of 128 so after loading it should be doable. Anyone else planning another round ? |

Sillyme- I am going to try it on my boyfriend as he has many different food sensitivities. He will think I'm crazy. It can't hurt, so why not?

Hey you're right it can't hurt and it if helps why not. Although if it doesn't help he may not enjoy it too much when he tries the foods again. Heres to hoping it works!

Today, I didn't have time for a proper breakfast. I was fading fast but I remembered that Chipotle opened in my city. I am now munching on a P3 friendly steak salad, no dressing, guacamole, cheese and sour cream with green salsa. No beans, corn or chips.
That was my first Chipotle experience. I understand why it's so popular, you can really customize! |

This "is" me easing back into carbs after a correction day. Usually I have done no carbs after correction days but I do enjoy my veggies & salads. Normally I have an apple as a snack in addition to strawberries in the morning & that's me being "carb crazy" . I think that's something that has been hard for me to let go. I wish I could relax and just eat veggies/fruits without worry but it's the low carb mentality that I am trying to get away from. Let's see if I can get away from it in the upcoming weeks.I did pinpoint where this low carb mentality came from. When I lost my first 50 & most crucial pounds I was doing Mediweightloss & their plan is about lean protein (500 cal) and either 2 veggies or 1 fruit/1veggie per day. That's it and small portions, non starchy veggie & fruit basically berries only. So even though I was successful on hHCG when I get to P3/P4 I basically have this fear of carbs... Me too, I'm so scared to add them in. I've come so far and I'm afraid the carbs will derail me. I just want to be able to have the delicious summer fruits when they're in season. I don't even need candy or sweets because there are so many low carb versions of those things we can make.
I have to pay attention to how you do things pandora in the hopes that I can have similar success. |

3 weeks down of P4. Woke up today -.2 to 127.8 so -.4 under ldw
It was delicious & soooo good ! I hope the scale agrees but if it does I think my Sat & Sun breakfast will include a bagel or toast from this bakery I found in Tampa that ships their low carb goodies very reasonably & no minimum. So today is the first time in over a year that I am not dieting or starting another round. My 3 weeks from P4 are over & I have no plans until April to attempt another round. That would put me 3 weeks from P3 + 8 weeks of P4 so 3 months of being stable. That is my current challenge ! Stabilize and not get lazy or comfortable because I may do another round to try and get to 120. I also have a vacation the first week of April. Not sure if we're going to a water park or not but NOT planning on overeating or overindulging. Also already planning our Easter meal which I also will not over do it. I am sticking to the 2 lb over rule which keeps me in line. Will continue to exercise (now 25 min every day on my stationary bike). In 2 weeks going to a Saturday Zumba class being taught at my son's school for beginners. Then will see if I can add another day or 2 of the zumba & if able will then decide if I really really want to do that 21 day round or if I am officially done Taking it one day at a time.Last edited by pandora174; 03-02-2013 at 06:49 AM.. |

Totally forgot there was new thread for March!
![]() I am stable at 151.8, right at my LDW. Loading for round #2 P2 was supposed to start 3/9. DH and I now have an unexpected opportunity to extend a short vacation so we've decided to stay on P3 for an additional few days, starting our load days on 3/15 and 3/16. I'm just hoping and praying not to go off the rails while we are away. The place has a little gym and it's on the beach so I'm going to plan a lot of walking. Quote:

![]() I also can't seem to exercise portion control. It's easier for me to stay away, in general. I absolutely plan on being able to factor in a dessert here and there, and we love wine so that will be added in moderation. I do enjoy fruit and have been adding more and varying my veggies more. The carbs I do like are rice (but who eats a half a cup ) and quinoa. I also love beans and while I haven't added those back yet, I am looking forward to using them in recipes and as a sub for meat. Have great weekend, everybody!

I used bakers unsweetened chocolate and coconut oil to make the best chocolate that I've have in almost a year. It blows using Hersheys unsweetened cocoa powder out the water. I was thinking of buying some unsweetened coconut flakes and making like little almond joys next week.
Does all almond butter have sugar cane in it? Is sugar cane the same as sugar? I can't find sugar free almond butter. Any thoughts? |

Happy Sunday everyone!! Today is P3D16 and I am stabilizing in my window
![]() Went to a birthday party last night and I ate really well and passed on the drinks and dessert and I was down a bit this AM. Must have been the last of the sodium retention from the cold cuts on Thursday. Loving P3 this round.I am still FULL from bfast this am which I ate late, so lunch isn't even on my radar yet, but I had leftover carnitas meat topped with two fried eggs and an iced Dunkins with HWC. I have wings to make for lunch with celery and dip. Dinner is steak with mushrooms and onions. snack of mug cake with HWC or GY with berries and walnuts. Haven't decided yet! |
