Yikes P3D2 and I am up to 1.6 over LIW. This is not a good trend.

I am sure that I have been adding things back in too quickly. Today is a crazy busy day with the kids, and I have to leave in a few minutes with them no time to make my lunch. SOOOO frustrating.

Well, I have been flat out *busy* IRL, but its all good. I got a fabulous job offer and will be starting in two weeks. I can't believe what a difference a year makes!! I really am back on my feet and on the right path to health and happiness! Who knew?!?!

I am in P4 and have only added a couple things. The steel cut oatmeal was *awesome* and I had no issues with it at all. I tried sweet potato last night in the form of home made french fries and I ate a whole one (albeit a small one!) I am UP 1.3 lbs today. I think I over did them. Next time I will only bake a half in order to maintain portion size. They were GOOD though. YUM!!

I really am ready for P2....loading over Easter weekend!!

I used the recipe from here but substituted almond butter instead of peanut butter. My almond butter is just roasted almonds with nothing added so i did add a tiny bit of salt when i mixed it up

up .3 today so 210.3 this morning not too bad but I want to get back to my ldw of 205. bah! was so close to onederland and I guess I still am. I came to school with no snacks and now im hungry. contemplating the cafeteria food but idk. I'd really love some tuna salad. though I am in p4 im still afraid of hidden sugars and other junk. I've been eating a mostly primal diet before hcg and it's wierd being in p4 b.c I don't crave..bread..pasta..rice...cereal..none of those things. when I started primal it was just an experiment now my body doesn't want to go back...I think I should try to incorporate sweet potatoes and...who knows what else lol. I know my body doesn't want bread...pasta..rice..oh I do love some good spaghetti squash. what else should I eat? and potato hack in p4? yes? no?

Down 0.3 lbs today, to 0.2 below LDW. Had about 1500 calories yesterday, 98 grams of protein, 60% fat and 43 net carbs including one Grissini and a mug cake.

The scale has been the same for 6 days now. I've not micromanaged my eating at all. I am just eating when I'm hungry and stopping when I'm no longer hungry. I haven't been keeping track, but here is a list of foods I've been enjoying ...

Cashews
Macadamia nuts
Chicken thighs
Red Peppers
Spinach
Apple Chips
Green Smoothies with whatever I have in the house (berries, apples, spinach, oranges, celery, cucumber)
Unsweetened dried cranberries (on a salad)
Greek Yogurt
Coffee with cream
Mug cakes
Cream cheese muffins
Cheese (in omelettes)
Bacon
Coconut milk
Torani SF syrups
Coconut oil (in coffee and in chocolate delight)
Bananas (twice...no scale issues)
Frozen desserts in the vitamix
Sashimi
Tuna
Mayo
Pork Rinds (for fried chicken tenders)

Last night, I had some 85% Lindt chocolate. It does have a tiny amount sugar in it, but we are talking about 1 carb per square. I had 3 squares.

My boyfriend is insisting I try something new this week, Saba which is a popular type of Mackerel in Japan. Growing up, my mom rarely cooked any fish so I have a hard time with the fishier fishes. On the other hand, my boyfriend's mom is Japanese and exposed him to all manner of fishy fishes. I'm going to try it, because he's so excited about it. Apparently, it will be served with boiled daikon and ginger. Wish me luck.

Oh, I forgot to add wine and bourbon to my list. I've enjoyed a few glasses of wine over the past week...and the occasional bourbon based nightcap.

WOE: maintaining 124-128 range
Start Date: 2/1/13
Hey ladies! All is well for me! I had a run in with a food yesterday I should have known would be attractive to my addictive personality but ran with it and so far, no negative response. I think because I immediately realized I would have to account for those calories somewhere, I cut back on other foods I'd planned on having yesterday. So far, so good. Scale was below my ldw this morning actually. I am making a real effort to concentrate on how foods make me 'feel' and what is positive and what is negative (even if it is delicious at the time I'm eating it). Very interesting. I'm definitely eliminating anything that doesn't give me a positive feel but will probably enjoy them in limited quantities while dining out. I don't trust myself to have them in my home (they 'talk' to me ) but, out and about on occasion I think will be fine.

Wishing you all a great day! happy weighing!

p.s. Who is going back to p2 and when? debating with myself dropping just a few more but not sure if I want to go the hhcg route or just do another plan for a few weeks to knock them off. Body is coming along nicely but I can see now that a few more pounds I'm at a good weight (131) but could go for a great weight (125) I'm 5'5". Oh, and for anyone who read about my bf situation, he picked up most of his stuff now. LOL> Still has tons here but it's a step in the right direction.

There's no sugar but there is maltodextrin, so... be careful Do a search online for homemade ranch-style dressings; that might be a better choice.
Jeanyy - I actually wouldn't use Atkins bake mix or any of those flour type products in P3. Too close to a starch for me... I'm skeered of them!

Glad that you are staying below LDW. As logical as your way of thinking sounds..I've never thought to actively think about how the foods I eat make me feel. I think that's a mental tool I need to start incorporating in my daily eating habits.

Sorry for not responding sonner! I use Kerrygold unsalted and other organic brands from non-GMO or non-hormone-fed cows. I CAN tell the difference between that and regular butter in my BPC. I melt my butter in a cup, add my sweetener, add about 1/4c of hot coffee and whip it to death with my milk frother. Then I top it off with more coffee and a bit of cream. YUM!

Down a decent amount this morning from PH day #3. 1.3 pre-Bernice so probably closer to 2 in two days. It definitely tests your patience! Feeling very thin these days regardless of scale weight and dumping water like crazy today! Anyway, one more day of hacking for me then off to see my OH in Austin. Looking forward to...well, EVERYTHING! Happy weekend to all!

The cannister I have is from the old days, ingredients are: wheat gluten, cornstarch, leavening (baking soda, monocalcium phosphate), casein protein, whey protein, salt. And the stats are: 1/4 cup: 90 calories, 0.5 g fat, 8 carbs, 5 fibre, 13 g protein.

I don't know if the bake mix sold now is the same or not, but I ate those muffins throughout my last P3 with no issues. YMMV, of course.

I have to remember to make myself some SC oats. The problem with me eating those is that they are so good I don't know when to stop. One serving is never enough.

It looks like most of you are getting ready to start new rounds. I won't be joining you just yet. I'm going to stay with JUDDD for awhile and see how that works out. The JUDDD plan is fine, I just have to see if its reasonable to expect it to get me to goal.

I'm only eating 360 calories today on JUDDD and I used more than half of them on my BP coffee this am.Lol

Still barely within my window, I actually think I'm eating too much, and my maintaining # of cal is lower than that wonky website says. i also think I could be retaining water, but who knows. Think I'll reduce the calories a little and see.

I haven't been introducing much new, just more proteins and low starch veggies...no dairy no wheat/starch, not even much for fruit, not even the P2 stuff, just don't normally eat it to begin with.
