Well I am in a funk and not entirely sure what to do about it. I woke up Monday morning up 1.8 to 123.4, which put me out of my window. I tried another GY day which netted me a loss of exactly zero. Tuesday I ate low carb and gave blood and woke up again to no loss. Wednesday I did a steak day and played in a basketball game and today, you got it, NO LOSS! I am still precisely 123.4 which is 3.6 over my LDW. I am a little down in the dumps.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for so many replies regarding my no fruit in Phase 3 question!!!
Only a few day left for me to start up. I really wanted this to be a longer round, but my sons 5th birthday is the first weekend of April. It worked out perfectly so that I can load the weekend of his party!

Geez, Phase 3 couldnt come soon enough.... Tuesday and Wednesday will be my two days without drops and Hello Thursday!!!!

I do have a question about the Greek Yogurt though, is it Full fat yogurt that's allowed. Is any type of sugar free yogurt allowed or strictly Greek yogurt?

Thanks for your imput ladies!!!!!!

Kacey<----can't wait till next week, not only is it the start of Phase 3, but it's spring break week and I get to stay home with my kiddos!!!
I always eat the full fat plain greek yogurt I add some sugar free caramel syrup to it

There is the three-day Mac nut fat fast. If you google those words, you'll find what you need.
Good Luck!

You know, many people stabilized 2-5 lbs over their LDW. Doing multiple CD in the course of a week will not help. Personally, I would just eat clean for a week and if it doesn't come down or change, I would just accept this as my stabilized weight for the round. It might be a set point for you since you are so close to goal weight. Just a thought!!

You have already done 2 correction days with no change. Why waste more time/effort doing something that may not change? tarheel, I would just try a few more days of clean eating and see where you end up.

Hi guys.

Just wanted to let y'all know that I had an opportunity to have a quick meet up with Julie (boolie) yesterday for lunch with her and her two girls. Julie is completely adorable (pics do NOT do her justice! she is SO much cuter in person!) and her girls were delightful! I'll post a pic later... She is really teenie tiny in person and next to her I look like a complete Amazon!

All is well otherwise. OH is off on a business trip so I am planning to get a better handle on exercise and eating in the next week. Still on the fence about doing a potato hack next week. I'm going to give it a serious couple of low carb days and see where I am Saturday morning. I'll decide to potato or not to potato then.

One more day 'til Friday...

Day 2 no drops, weird to gain .2 when I'm still VLCD and all that. But, not stressing, might be water, might be hormones. Felt pretty weird most of the day... shaky, almost like low blood sugar, hungry but not... a little off and out of whack, doing ok now. Looking forward to eating fats and pork again tomorrow night!!

I actually followed this advice after my last round. It was hard to accept raising my LDW five lbs, but that was where I stabilized.

Yup my 3rd round I stabilized at 3 lbs over ldw & I also raised my ldw & saved myself lots of stress & aggravation. This round I stabilized exactly around my ldw in P3 but in P4 when I added back in exercise I notice my body keeps going back up to 2 lbs over my ldw. But I am much more accepting about this than I would of been before. I think most of us go through P2 and get to that last day & see a nice low weight of ldw & it is very hard to accept that after all that hard work we may have to get used to a higher number on the scale.

Which I guess explains why we keep doing rounds...myself included

Morning all ! Happy Friday up +.4 & +1.8 over ldw and still in Maintenance land & all is well. Added some weights to my work out yesterday. Also had 2 of the most amazing low carb brownies ever
Getting over my fear of foods.

Yesterday I felt so decadent having those brownies but they were not a cheat & delicious. I definitely will keep ordering from Sami's Bakery out of Tampa FL. So far I've had their low carb bagels, raisin bread & brownies & loved them all. They have all the nutritional info on the package & the prices are very reasonable.

I also had for "me" a very healthy carby day yesterday & it was amazing (low carb bread in the am with mixed berries, lunch - chicken & tomato/cucumber salad, dinner - beef stew with sweet potato, mushroom, peppers & dessert - 2 low carb brownies with nuts & more berries). I hope I am getting over my fear of good carbs

Here's what I found from Shelby on another thread:

the original Worcestershire sauce has this in it..."malt vinegar (from barley), spirit vinegar, molasses, sugar, salt, anchovies, tamarind extract, onions, garlic, spice, and flavoring" Both the molasses and the sugar are no-no's and will cause cravings.

Hello all,

New to this forum spent alot of time reading and finally decided to join. I've lost 90 lbs so far half hcg half tracking calories. Recently did a 21 day round started at 225 and LDW was 207 then it slowly creeped up to 210 and my last week of p3 I went crazy and weighed at 219.6...did some clean eating and CD and now I'm at 213. Monday will be my first day of P4 and I'm thinking of not introducing carbs until the second week of p4. And that's me! :3 here's to hoping I can get back to 207 soon..sad news Tom is here and I don't want another gain :0'

If I were to continue with my CD wold anyone suggest a GYCD during t.o.m? Or should I do high protein? I'm just so used to high protein and I've read good things about GYCD but not during Tom. Any experiences!

But who knows, Tom acted weird this time around, during p2 Tom came in the 2nd week. I ate high protein and lost 8lbs during Tom...so maybe if I eat clean during this Tom the scale will be nice to me and I won't experience a gain? = ^____^=

i'm out of my window by 0.6. I'm not doing a correction day! TOM is "suppposed" to start today and for once i wish it would get here and get out of the way so i know if thats what it is that is messing with my weight. For most of my p3 i've been almost a pound below LDW and now to be over it sucks especially when i'm done p3 tomorrow lol

Yesterday was my first day of p4. I'm scared to death to add carbs. I'll take it slowly.

Anyway, yesterday I made some Chinese BBQ pork (char siu). I substituted sweeteners for the sugar and honey but one of the ingredients for the marinade is hoisin sauce. After I made it, I looked at the label for the hoisin sauce and discovered that the main ingredient is sugar. Grrr!

I was mad because had I checked it first I might have been able to find a low carb substitute for it. I had just a little of the BBQ pork in my faux fried rice (cauliflower). My husband on the other hand went crazy and ate about 1 1/2 lbs of it. He's diabetic and although I warned him about the hoisin he still ate it like there was no tomorrow. An hour after, he checked his blood sugar and he was stable at a number that's low for him. It didn't cause me any problems either. All is well, that ends well.

Does anyone know of a low-carb substitute for hoisin sauce?

I'm up .2 from my ldw, I'll take it. I can tell I'm holding water. Ending up with a sunburn yesterday. I'm shocked! It was gorgeous but I sure wasn't expecting tha.t in March. Just on my back. I had lotion on my face and arms but sadly, no one here to rub on my back Note to self. Do not wear spaghetti strap t's to garden next time. Going to have a great day here. It's cold, raining and all the sweeping and raking I did in my back yard were for nothing. It's so windy that there are tree remnants, etc everywhere. Will be a great workout opportunity next week, so its all good

I just had the most delicious lunch from a raw vegan place. It was a mix of coconut meat, shredded cabbage, shredded carrot, red peppers and kelp noodles (not a starch) and a spicy coconut sauce.

I washed it down with a green juice (cucumber, celery, ginger, lemon, parsley, burdock).

I was really craving the nutrients. I feel great!
