Jireh's Juicing on HCG cycle LOG!!
Hello all, I have found this site as I was searching for info on juicing on HCG. This forum seems to have the most info yet it too is limited. So I decided to put the suspense to bed and dive in. First off I am no stranger to the HCG diet. I was motivated by a guy named Biggsam55 as he posted many videos yt over the course of several months. Initially I did the diet for 25 days and lost 30+ lbs. My loses continued in p3 as well. I attempted several more rounds here and there and lost on them but my interest was nothing like the initial round. Besides interest, I didn't like the feeling of feeling like I needed to use the bathroom and fail! I never had problems with that so I wasn't feeling that at all. The vitamins and teas made me feel shaky and weird so I dropped those things as well. I went on to discover the strict suggested diet wouldn't necessarily be my only options. I added fresh green beans, collard greens, pears, watermelon, turkey, brussel sprouts, and canned tuna in water. All of these things worked out awesome for me and my wife.
Eventually I discovered juicing in which I lost on average 1lb daily. I would have a 5 carrots, 1/2 sweet potato, and a red apple or orange for breakfast juice. Lunch would be a salad with green juice and dinner green juice (celery, kale, lemon, ginger root, cucumber, and granny smiths.) This worked out and made me feel awesome after the third day.
Lastly was the Daniel fast in which I do for faith reason NOT diet reasons. This too did indeed increase my faith and understanding in GOD and in addition bettered my health as it took away crappy foods. Now to be completely honest I have grown to actually hate the HCG diet. I feel like I'm being offered something from the devil or having to ask for something from that person you know you shouldn't converse with due to their motives. It's strange because I know it's not the only way and by nature patience is our worse enemy and often makes us miss what GOD has in store for us. With that said, I plan on using the HCG to get over the hunger hump that comes in the first days or weeks of juicing. I have decided to eat some fruits (pom, apples, banana, pear, and pineapple) over the course of this diet. I will be having the green juice for meals and the fruits for in between.
So to update you guys I decided to break the tradition and shut the mouths of the HCG police and prove the method can be expanded and more so bring so glory to GOD in doing so. Straight out of the gate I loaded for 3 days (Fri-Sun) and P2 Day 1 was yesterday. During the loaded and cooked all the following: pulled pork, bacon cheese fries, a huge double burger, buttermilk pancakes, eggs, cheese, did i mention bacon?, sausages, and fried chicken to close out (no sides....) As for the naughty foods: A box of girl scout (thin mints on Day 1), 2 krispy creme honeybuns & 12 oreos on day 2, and nearly an entire bag on krispy creme donut wheels on Day 3. So my grand total was 7.8 lb.
On yesterday, my first diet day, I had 42oz green juice and 2 bananas in addition to 72oz water. I must say the challenge is reminding yourself you're not hungry as I truly wasn't. Mastication is really the challenge. Also I had no headaches, a face flushing effect after the 2nd juice for 20 minutes (no worries there just unexpected), at one point I was sleepy and dosed off but that's likely because I had been up since 5am the last several days.
As of this morning I must say I was shocked to see that I was officially down  8.4lbs which is unreal, nearly unbelievable, incredible, very encouraging, and promising. So that's a real total of about 1lb down in one day.
I make the green juice in 4 servings it makes about one gallon total. The key I have discovered over the last few months has been making sure I get 18-20 oz kale juice. I have the walmart $50 GE juicer. It's like 800 watts and I juice on the lowest speed minus apples. I get more bang for my buck. I never recycle the pulp. That's a messy situation and not worth the extra teaspoon.
As far as supplements, if necessary I will use sea kelp, L-Glutamine, or chickweed as they all are great for suppressing your appetite ad cutting cravings. More so than anything this diet is about walking with GOD for me and denying the flesh! My goal is to transition from Load> juice/ raw fruit on HCG> juice/ raw foods without HCG> Daniel fast with juicing> HCG P3> colon cleanse> seafood as my main meats in addition to healthy foods.
I will continue to post here daily and hopefully this will be encouraging to someone else. I will check throughout the day for questions. GOD bless!
1 Gallon Juice Recipe
- 4-5 bundles of kale- makes the needed 18-20oz wash good!!
- 4 cucumber medium to large sized
- 1 bags of celery hearts or 1-2 large bag of celery
- 4 knobs of ginger or to taste
- 2 lemons (I slice off the peeling as well as the white surface underneath)
- 8 medium granny smiths apples or 9 small
Interesting! Best of luck with your plan! Keep us posted with results!
Day 2 -1.6lbs
Day 3 -0.8lbs
I've come to realize the HCG isn't necessary. Juicing will work. These loses are just as they were when I did juicing alone. hmmmm
The negative to what most people juice (oranges, apples, carrots) is that you are getting an insane spike to your blood sugar. That said, as much as I enjoy the sugary juices (I am a sugar addict), you will probably have better luck (and better health) with your juices consisting of mostly greens, and then something like romaine, celery, or cucumber for the liquid volume. 8-9 apples is a lot of sugar.
ETA: Also, don't judge HCG's effectiveness vs Juicing based on 2-3 days. Assuming you have effective/real HCG, you will be able to maintain the deficit and losses for much longer than you will from juicing. Especially if you depend on the sugary fruits to keep you going.
ETA2: I don't mean to sound like I'm against juicing. I'm not. I just think people are fooling themselves when they think the heavy sugar drinks are healthy. Dirt juice is where it's at.
